  1. Past hour
  2. I would also add that the third person you reserve for that room should be a different individual than the child who will be spending part of the week at Mom & Dad's and part at Grandma & Grandpa's.
  3. My pleasure. Sorry it took until the last possible minute !
  4. Today
  5. Big ship, more activities offered. Always prefer the bigger ships on a crossing.
  6. Welcome to the message boards! Royal doesn't care if you pay for someone and they no show. Is it the exact same room category? It sounds like when you change to 3 people, it's giving you a different room type that can accommodate 3 people instead of 2. I don't think it will matter in this scenario, but I have heard of rooms for 5 or more can be a problem if you book them and then no show with less. I would work with a good travel agent before you book to ensure you're not missing anything.
  7. I gotta say, my step Husky is the best dog I’ve ever owned and he seriously doesn’t take a lot of maintenance! He gets groomed 3 times a year and otherwise I brush him randomly (maybe like every 3 months?) when he looks a little fluffy. He is the calmest and sweetest boy. On walks everyone is barking and going absolutely apes%&* when they see us and we just trot right by smiling! Your Alaskan packing list sounds perfect! Happy to see binoculars made the cut, I spied on a treetop filled with 4 eagles with mine! If you can squeeze a mini one in, I’d recommend an umbrella too.
  8. 9 cruises, all with RC. The last 6 with my husband. The first 3 were before we met. We have 11 booked, 1 includes a Celebrity cruise. I have 1 solo to get us to Diamond for our Transatlantic in Nov.
  9. Won my bid going from a Suite Guarantee to 1 BR AquaSuite in July 2022. Can't remember the exact bid amount, but it was $20 over minimum. Was notified over 40 days out!
  10. We are flying to San Juan 2 weeks from today so we have a few days to walk around Old San Juan before the cruise. Does anyone have an must see in the area?
  11. The bubble is called the 1400. I only remember because I was unimpressed with the name. FYI vape technology is what makes that drink possible. It doesn't have any harmful ingredients though. You must have good taste as that was one of wifeys favs.
  12. Did you stop at some cool islands in the crossing? Something the big ships can't do. Asking because we are weighing the pros and cons of big vs small ship crossings.
  13. 15 NOV 25, Rhapsody. 18 APR 26, Icon.
  14. I recommend going east to west, because of the time changes. I loved the transatlantic I took from Rome to Galveston back in 2011.
  15. How did we miss this sign of casino programs merging as reported by The Street on 22 December 2023? Royal Caribbean's Celebrity brand sent out an email that it would be extending the casino year for its Blue Chip casino through July 31, 2024. That means that existing members will hold onto their current tiers for seven more months as the year normally ends at midnight on Dec. 31.
  16. Alicante Spain we walked from the ship to citywalked around and returned to ship
  17. Well, absolutely beautiful scenery of the forge but we didn’t get close to the Endicott glacier, we stopped and could barely see it, obviously the boat is to big to get closer but we also did not turn a full 360, so make sure your in the side to see it because we didn’t turn all the way so both sides could see it. Got lucky as it was full sun at 6-8am.
  18. I totally get that. Picking a favorite Oasis class ship for me is really close to splitting hairs. They're not THAT different. I just really liked some of the tweaks/additions to Wonder like Mason Jar brunch, new WJ layout, big open ELF with attached bar (that has one of my favorite margaritas), two coffee machines in the CL, etc. When we went on Allure last minute in October, I enjoyed the stuff Wonder doesn't have like Sabor, Giovanni's Table, a CL with a view that's not in the basement, etc. I'd happily sail whatever Oasis class ship is at PC... and that just happens to be Wonder/Utopia for the next few years so I'm not complaining (except for the prices). Seems like you prefer PC as well. Whether Wonder becomes your favorite or not, I'm sure you'll have a great time!
  19. We'll be sailing on Icon on May 11 and won our Royal Up last week. Here are the deets: Stateroom you moved up from: Grand Suite 1-bedroom Stateroom you moved up to: Icon Loft Suite Bid amount: $1625 Do you recall if it was minimum? Maximum? Somewhere in the middle? It was the minimum
  20. Wait...aren't you "anti fly to the port"? Don't you just use the cup holder in your car? lol
  21. I have the laundry sheets. Make sure you bring a stain stick or equivalent! They are not my fave but definitely are convenient for travel! I thought about that cup holder, but opted for a bag that goes over the handles as well. My backpack has too many compartments and the older i get, the less i remember which compartment i put what ...
  22. Hey, we just got back from Wonder of the Seas and now booked Utopia for next year!!! We have an ocean balcony booked for myself, my husband and my 9-year-old. Now, my parents want to come and get an ocean balcony too, but the price for 2 people is much higher than for 3. My daughter may want to go visit them some night. Is it possible to book their room to include 3 passengers (so it's cheaper) but also will allow my daughter to visit them a few cabins down the hallway. My question is, when my parents do their check in online, will they require any documentation from my daughter who will technically already be checked-in in our room? Does RC frown on NO SHOWS or will my parents still be able to keep the cabin they booked, even if it will only technically have 2 guests, rather than 3? Thanks for any help!
