I realize we have the premium drink package with this booking; but, we do not go out much and prefer to have alcohol stocked in room. Thanx! Sounds like the Genies will coordinate parties with drinks etc. for you but not bring some to the room just for the guests? FYI WAAAYTOOO-We are in star class this summer and have loved the detailed reviews you have provided!!!!! Family of four so promise not to abuse our Genie with pizzas in the casino at 2am! You would think that they would prefer to bring you a bottle and let you make your own drinks rather than bothering them to have drinks delivered. After all, all of your alcohol (except for the high end stuff) is included in your cruise fare anyway. It seems a little short-sighted but I'm sure there is some kind of "incident" in the past that has resulted in this policy. When ever you see a sign that states the obvious "Don't do this stupid thing here" it's because someone did it. Policies often originate from the same origins. Norwegian CL provided me with three bottles of my choice in our suite. Had I known I have to call the Genie, or walk myself to a bar to obtain adult beverages, I would have went back to Norwegian. However, i do agree with the above 2 posters. 1) Set up a standing delivery with your genie in your precruise communication and follow up once onboard. 2) Order your drinks neat, for sure. If they are delivered early and you're not in the room to receive them ... you'll have to like a watery drink to enjoy them. I had a standing order of a Bloody Mary everyday with bacon for breakfast. Not an issue with the ice because i was always in the room at the time it was delivered. Even got one on disembarkation morning. Have fun!
