Waypoint Exp Posted March 14 Report Posted March 14 1 year ago we went to Hideaway Beach and had a great time.. The price has more than doubled for our upcoming cruise (and that's on sale) and is a little above what we thought it was worth before. We are reconsidering as we will be going in a few weeks at the end of Spring Break season and there are 2 Oasis Class ships in port that day Has anything changed for the better or worse that may sway our decision? Matt Posted March 14 Report Posted March 14 I think the experience is roughly the same. The question is how much will it cost on your sailing, which is the same decision matrix cabanas and the Coco Beach Club have. Waypoint Exp 1 Quote
loki007 Posted March 14 Report Posted March 14 We still love it and go either there or the beach club depending on the prices. we will be there in 2 weeks on Utopia. I got it for $50pp during a sale which I still think is worth it. Waypoint Exp and Jolly Ogre 1 1 Quote
Waypoint Exp Posted March 14 Author Report Posted March 14 It's borderline for us at $69 and change that they're offering. The price has been hovering in the mid 80-100 range over the past few months, which was a pass. We paid $24 last time and said we'd do $50 without much thought. RCCL must have heard us and decided to challenge our thinking skills Quote
Mturk Posted March 14 Report Posted March 14 We enjoy going to Hideaway Beach but the price for our November Wonder cruise is currently selling for $86.88, I won't pay that much. Our first time there, in February 2024, we paid $26.99, in August 2024, got it for $43.99 and the last time there, a couple of weeks ago, we got it for $53.99. So February 2025 was double what we paid for a year earlier and to top it off we had a very overcast and cool day so we couldn't really take advantage of our time there. That's the risk with any vacation and totally out of everyone's control but disappointing none the less. Waypoint Exp 1 Quote
Kelseylovestocruise Posted March 14 Report Posted March 14 I paid about $95.00cad and am so excited to go! As a teacher on spring break adults only is what I need!!! I hope people are social as I’m travelling solo Waypoint Exp and GatorCruiser 2 Quote

Swim up bars tend to provide lots of social lubrication. We lost all track of time chatting away in the pool Quote
Jolly Ogre Posted March 14 Report Posted March 14 I paid $35.99 the 1st time just to see what it was all about and that was to much for what you "get". I have not been back to the Coco Beach Club since it broke $75.00. WAAAYTOOO 1 Quote
Smokey79 Posted March 14 Report Posted March 14 I’m sorry but IMO this is not a “sale”. They want $69 for the zip line after discount as well. Robert M 1 Quote
Southern Dan Posted March 14 Report Posted March 14 I will not be back to CocoCay until 2027...I can only imagine what the price for Hideaway Beach will be then! Waypoint Exp 1 Quote
wordell1 Posted March 15 Report Posted March 15 Obviously, they use dynamic pricing AKA supply and demand. Those prices are very high in comparison to other beach resorts. To me it shows that there is a strong demand for an adult only product where possible. Quote
Pattycruise Posted March 15 Report Posted March 15 I was at one of the first sailings for hideaway and knew those prices wouldn’t stay so low but they’ve gotten out of control. Paid almost $50 last month on winter break cruise out of NJ. Hideaway was pretty empty all the seats were taken but I have no idea where the people were. The swim up bar had empty seats-it was just bizarre. Even the beach wasn’t that crowded and hardly anyone in the water. My September sailing has it at $100. Hard pass. I’ll keep checking the price. I think about $50 is my max. It’s really nice to be there when the ship is full of kids or if it’s “jelly fish season” in the beach water. Quote
Skyfrog Posted March 15 Report Posted March 15 I’ve been to Hideaway Beach twice, both times for about $50. On my first trip, the place had very few people and I could sit anywhere. I love the heated pool and the pizza. The second time, the place was packed, and I had a hard time finding a chair with shade. With the price increase, I’m more inclined to explore other areas of CocoCay and probably spend more time on the ship. I heard the casino is open when docked, not sure if that’s true. Yes it is true/slots open early, tables a few hours later Skyfrog 1 Quote
MdFormula350 Posted March 17 Report Posted March 17 hideaway is worth it to me ive been there 4 times now, was going to be 5 times but my recent sailing couldnt make it there due to wind/waves. the price per ticket doesnt sway my decision but usually try to get it on sale for in the 50s. Quote
smost Posted March 17 Report Posted March 17 The first time we went we paid around $25/person and thought that was pretty reasonable. The second time was around $34/person. I wouldn't pay more than $40 for it. We've been to Coco Cay without it and don't feel like it made much of a difference to us. We enjoyed it but not at the price it's being listed for now. barjpoe, Jolly Ogre and WAAAYTOOO 3 Quote
