Btcruiser Posted March 1 Report Posted March 1 We are arriving back to port Canaveral on wonder August 10th it says at 6am. Would we have enough time to make an 11:15am flight out of Orlando? I assume self assist would be best. Price goes from $109 per person to $500 after that flight time Quote
Doug_Texas Posted March 1 Report Posted March 1 That is reasonable flight time. Btcruiser and RCIfan1912 1 1 Quote
smokeybandit Posted March 1 Report Posted March 1 Just aim to be outside and getting onto your transportation by 8:15 Btcruiser and RCIfan1912 1 1 Quote
dustfsu Posted March 1 Report Posted March 1 Do the self assist and you should be off the ship by no later then 730 Btcruiser and RCIfan1912 1 1 Quote
Ryan79 Posted March 1 Report Posted March 1 What are you going to do if there is a delay in the ship getting back to Orlando on time? What if there is a delay with clearing the ship with Customs? These things do happen rjweber3, Btcruiser, Pattycruise and 1 other 3 1 Quote
Matt Posted March 1 Report Posted March 1 11:30 am is no problem at Orlando, especially since Utopia docks exceptionally early (so does Icon). RCIfan1912 and Btcruiser 1 1 Quote
BB1 Posted March 1 Report Posted March 1 I'm coming in on Voyager on a monday at the end of the month. Is 11:15 out of Orlando reasonable on Monday morning? RCIfan1912 1 Quote

Yes, just dont waste time getting off the ship. Plan to take your own luggage off the ship and try to disembark as early as possible. RCIfan1912 1 Quote
ChessE4 Posted March 2 Report Posted March 2 I would make sure my travel insurance covered the flight just in case. RCIfan1912 and Baked Alaska 2 Quote
JasonOasis Posted March 3 Report Posted March 3 Usually they open the doors in Port Canaveral around 6:30 am but I've been on cruises where there have been delays because customs wasn't ready and hadn't cleared the ship.  If you do the self assist walk of option you should be able to make your flight. But know this if you're not in a suite you're going to have to get in line and those lines to get off early can be quite long. And the problem isn't getting off the ship once they open the doors the line moves quite fast the problem is if you don't have transportation already line up in advance you could find yourself in a long line to get a taxi or a shared shuttle service to the airport.  Also you really don't want to do a taxi as that could cost you over $100 dollars and shared shuttles in my experience are the better way much much cheaper to go however they only leave once they have a full van.  As long as you're not pressed for time you wont' have any stress but if you're not off the ship when the doors open your stress level is going to be extremely high. Btcruiser and Baked Alaska 1 1 Quote
smokeybandit Posted March 3 Report Posted March 3 I've only done GoPort in recent years out of Canaveral. They don't necessarily wait until the bus is full to leave, though last time I sailed out of there they started picking up at multiple terminals which ate another 15 minutes. Quote
need2cruz Posted March 3 Report Posted March 3 We were on Adventure from Port Canaveral a few weeks ago. Â We got off the ship self assist very quickly. Â We had an 11:15AM flight. Â We got a Lyft (it was a Saturday and it was about $65). Â We actually got to the airport (MCO) too early to check the bags, lol. Â I think we were there about 7:45AM. Quote
