Your Day in Mykonos

Mykonos is nestled in the heart of Greece’s Cyclades archipelago, and pulses with irrepressible energy. With its powder white houses, sparkling blue waters, and red-hot nightlife, The Island of the Winds is as colorful as the people who call it home. You can walk narrow marble pathways laced with purple bougainvillea blooms or go cycling on two wheels past the off-the-path Ano Mera village.

Your Day in Ephesus (Kusadasi)

The UNESCO World Heritage ruins of Ephesus impress even those familiar with the world's other ancient cities. Check out the the Celsus Library – built in 117 A.D. – the site is made up of towering columns highlighted by the statue of the goddess of wisdom. Get a taste of Turkish life by strolling the seafront promenade and the bustling city center. Walk Marble Street, paved with actual marble slabs, which takes you from downtown to the Temple of Artemis – you can still see one lone remaining column from this wonder of the ancient world.

Whatever you decide to do, we’re sure you’ll have a memorable time!

Shore Excursions

Any pre-paid Royal Caribbean International shore excursions booked for Jerusalem (Ashdod) and Haifa will automatically be refunded to your original form of payment. In the meantime, feel free to browse all the exciting shore excursion options for your sailing in My Royal Cruise to level up your vacation.

Important Note

All guests will be tendered to shore in Mykonos and Santorini. Unfortunately, tender boats may not be accessible to guests who are full-time mobility scooter or wheelchair users. We’re sorry for the impact to your vacation, and we hope you understand that your safety and well-being comes first. Guests who use collapsible wheelchairs and who can take steps will be able to go ashore. Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at (866) 592-7225 or email special_needs@rccl.com.

Thanks for your understanding. We can’t wait to welcome you onboard Odyssey of the Seas next year!

Sincerely,

Aurora Yera-Rodriguez

Nice to see Royal already know what will be in the region almost one year ahead... Someone was very hurry to pull the trigger.

No win situation, they hold out and the situation doesn't get better then people will be complaining why did they take so long. Also a pretty tough sell at the moment.

It isn’t like finding a parking spot at the grocery store.  These things get planned out years in advance typically.  Honestly, they don’t have time to wait to see what happens.  Once the fighting stops it will be 6 months to a year before ships return, but they will return.

No they don't know what's going to be happening in the region a year from now but at least they know but more importantly their guest know where their ships will be.

Equally as important is their guest now have the information they need to either continue with the cruise, or cancel their cruise al together, and guest who've had their entire voyages canceled can decided what they want to do.

The worst decision Royal or any cruise line for that matter can do right now is wait and see.  Traveling from the US to Europe isn't cheap at all, I'm assuming most people if they book their airfare separately from the cruise line are probably just starting to look at prices.  So yes now right now is the absolute time for Royal to cancel the 2024 season because waiting causes more problems.

With this approach Royal need to cancel all cruises in the Caribbean from July to October as it might be cancel due to hurricane and you don't want to wait for the last minute to see there is a new hurricane . People are buying expensive flights and non refundable hotels ...

How can you compare the 2. What right minded person would get on line now and say, yes dear let's book a cruise in Israel in July next year.

Hundreds of cruises sail the Carribbean in July each year, the likelihood of cancelling less than 1%.

Well as I think I know the geopolitics of the region July next year is far enough for thing to be much difference, but I might be wrong . At the end of the day RCL is a business.
