Coach9
Will be sailing on Anthem and it will be during the Super Bowl. Just wondering if the ship does anything special for the game.
TXcruzer
I was on Allure for Super Bowl this year. They showed the game in the Theater as well as the Aqua-Theater. There were small munchies around the venues.
Shay
They will show the Superbowl in the Two-70 venue, no commercials, but they will showcase the halftime show with bad audio lol. The WJ will have great food options like nachos, wings, hot dogs and you should be able to grab food and take it back to Two-70 to eat during the game. It was really cool. Get there early if you want booth seating Xaa, RCIfan1912 and Doug_Texas
fireclan
I've sailed on the Anthem for 3 Super Bowls pre-shut down. Although not a football fan, I still enjoyed watching some of it in the Royal Theatre where you could choose to sit on the side with other fans of your team. There were pretty good half-time type snacks along the back of the theatre (nachos, hot dogs, burgers, etc) and, of course, bar service. None of the commercials are seen, only the game, but there were giveaways of stuff during the commercial breaks. I found it to be sort of festive and fun. Matt
Yes, there will be some extras thrown in for the game. Here's an example from 2022: https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/2022/02/14/brilliance-of-the-seas-live-blog-day-4-super-bowl-sunday
FionaMG
Interesting. By sheer coincidence, I will also be on a cruise on Super Bowl Sunday. Being from the other side of the pond, I know virtually nothing about this, so it will be interesting to see how it impacts the atmosphere on the cruise. APM
Some of the worst cruise behavior I have ever experienced. For example, watching on the outdoor big screen from the Viikng Crown Lounge, no audio but still a great view and snacks too. Others had the same great idea but they took the cushions off the chairs to make their chairs extra cushion-y. So you had to watch , sitting in a chair that was designed to have cushions, but didnt, and just sit on the frame. Doug_Texas
I was on Ovation in Australian waters this last year during Superbowl. RCL did it right in Two-70 and it was a special experience. Edited September 8, 2023 by Doug_Texas photo corrupted RCIfan1912
Villageidiot
We were on Oasis this year for the Super Bowl and watched it in the theater. No commercials but they did run the same 3-4 ESPN promos during every break. Otherwise it was a fun experience.
Gilley
I thought football season just started, they already have the date for the Super Bowl. I guess you can see I don’t follow but that is an awesome time to cruise. Hope your team makes it in.

Super bowls are scheduled about 5 years in advance BMW Hoosier
