cruisellama
We were on a "cabin crawl" on Allure recently and we visited a very interesting family cabin located forward, ocean view, with an inclined window facing forward. The room was a nice size with a curtained cubby area with bunk beds, a queen sized bed and a pull out couch. Can't remember if it was on deck 8, 9 , 10... as we were visiting so many cabins during our venture. Does anyone know what such a cabin is called or classified as? Have friends with kids who want ocean view but don't feel comfortable with kids and a balcony at this time. Neesa

Kathleen
According to the Royal Caribbean, deck lands it is an ultra spacious ocean view room, which appear to be located on deck 11 only. You can search those rooms on YouTube and find a few short videos.
Sparky85
We have this room booked on Oasis. You will also find them on a few decks of the freedom class - you can also use code 1K as the name has swapped around a bit in the past. Lovetocruise2002
We had this category of room on Independence. It was at the very front of the ship. We were on Deck 8 (I think). I will never book this category again. First of all, you feel a lot of motion here. I know that every sailing is different for motion, but compared to other areas of the ship, you feel it here the most. Secondly, this room is super noisy. Every time the ship docks or departs, there is all sorts of loud noises and vibrations from this end of the ship. This room category is one and done for us. IMO, it's not worth the extra space. In fact, anything that far forward is out for us since that sailing. I remember that I could not wait to go home after that sailing. Here's my blog with pictures from that room and what I thought of it at the time. This category layout can vary from ship to ship but I think the problems with this room would be the same. https://www.royalcaribbeanblog.com/boards/index.php?/topic/10227-“into-the-unknown”-…-independence-ots-holiday-sailing-–-12292018-132019/

If you're early risers, it won't matter much. But annoying if you want to sleep in just a bit.
