Vancity Cruiser
I wonder if this is a direct result of the customs debacle a few weeks back?

I believe so.. But it will start 2024. I have two Anthem coming up, Feb & April, both will still stop at Miami. But thank god is after Orlando. Hopefully that Itinerary stay the way it is... WAAAYTOOO
Personally, I think this is a great change of itin….but I couldn’t help but giggle at the headline, “Great news” ! Too bad they missed the opportunity to insert “…we’re enhancing your cruise experience by removing a port of call and adding a sea day…”. Good change though… F1guynz and Neesa

To be honest, I wouldn't mind skipping Miami in exchange for extra time in PC as we're visiting the space centre. But assuming this is in response to that mess, there's no reason for them to change our itinerary. BrianB
teddy
We just emailed our travel agent last night to book this cruise for us and our middle son, daughter in law, and granddaughter. We’re not at all upset that Miami is off the table A sea day is always fun PhillyLady and WAAAYTOOO

Al Miller
Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but to me it looks like the article just says the one sailing where Miami was at the end has been changed. That was the problem on Anthem. I'm on for the upcoming Feb 4th sailing with a stop in Miami, but in the more sensible order that doesn't force the immigration/customs hassle. I still wouldn't mind getting Miami dropped though I Would think passengers might enjoy this too. 3 or 4 more hours in Canaveral makes jumping to Orlando proper for the day much more do-able. I still wouldn't mind getting Miami dropped though I'm on this cruise, too. I'm hoping the itinerary stays as is. A previous cruise 4-5 years ago had the customs hassle when the order of the itinerary changed. It was a PITA and essentially ruined most of a port day for many people. It happened to us in Port Canaveral, not Miami, and we didn't have anything planned or booked so we didn't miss an excursion but did miss breakfast (we survived!) and spent 3-4 hours sitting in a freezing terminal.
