r33796
Has anyone been on a Royal Caribbean ship for a charter cruise and gotten C&A points? we are booked on an 80's cruise on Mariner in the spring and wonder if we will get C&A points for the cruise
twangster
It's up to the company doing the charter. They can choose to pay for it or choose not to pay for it. There is a cost for it and somebody has to pay. Contact the charter company or organization.

So when a company is pricing out ships and dates to charter there is a option to award guests with Crown and Anchor points and this carries a fee? If so, is fee based on those sailing who are enrolled in C&A/requesting points or is it for all passengers? Since charters seem to cater to a specific group I would expect the percentage of passengers on a charter who are new to Royal Caribbean to be higher than an average Royal sailing. These questions are curiosity only, I do not have plans to charter Symphony of the seas. Not enough people live in my hometown.

I can only imagine the level of details that must be negotiated. IRMO12HD
@r33796, we've been on two charters (High Seas Rally) and received C&A points on each one. Since these charters benefited charities, they may have gotten special arrangements or dispensation, but there was no annotation of extra fees due to the award of C&A points. ChrisK2793
Our first 2 cruises ever on RCL in 2010 and 2011 (Liberty & Allure) were 100% chartered cruises that could only be booked thru the charter company and we did receive points for both.
