  1. I figured this was the answer which is great news, but we’ve also already answered the second question i didn’t ask yet which was we can’t both be on the same time when it’s under one person which I assumed, but still saves some money
  2. doing the 80s cruise in spring (charter) since it’s a charter, I don’t think my Diamond + 30% discount will apply But the question is this if I buy an Internet package for me and my wife as individuals it appears to be $50 more than if I just buy the internet package for myself and have two devices. my assumption is each of our phones can be the devices and there’s no reason I wouldn’t be able to save $50 versus buying it separately. Has anybody else tried that?
  3. Has anyone heard whether or not when the Allure is in dry dock will have destination elevators added?, and yes, I know from previous blogs and posts that they tested it on the allure and several other ships would be interested to know if that's something that can be updated during a dry dock timeline
  4. awesome thanks
  5. I just heard a rumor that twisted iced teas are now available as part of the drink package on Royal Caribbean ships. Can anybody confirm that and if they are, did it replace anything?
  6. Scott his not 21 so that’s not the issue or question You misunderstood what i was asking
  7. not a cost issue at all just the drink certs always go to waste for him and us since we are all D+ and we always get drink package we will give them ours but was curious about the other
  8. I assume the answer is no since they " know the card being used is a minor" but I thought I would ask. Our friends in another cabin who dont drink enough to buy drink package could get a few drinks from my son if it worked
  9. Just as a follow up, FYI saw today that I did get an email from the Concierge team offering to help book things, but we had already done that obviously from the previous thread you can tell, but it was an informative email
  10. I was able to book all seven or eight of the reservable shows several comedians, the Wizard of Oz and the aqua show. but being in a sky class suite, I’m still surprised I haven’t heard from the suite Concierge to do it for me.
  11. of course this morning its shows up online was confused because another person said they booked several weeks priorate sailing
  12. has anyone been able to book the shows for this sailing yet or better yet has anyone in sky/star class been contacted to do it via the concierge team we are sky so figured I would have heard by now say on inaugural cruise that by 1/10 someone booked WofO already we are now closer than that to our sailing
  13. that's exactly what i needed to know great news we look forward to being able to share that unique experience with extended family again( just a bigger group!)
  14. anyone had an issue having 9 people in the over water cabana's (6 adults 3 teenagers) I thought I read somewhere the limit is 8
  15. ok thanks i thought i remembered it was more than a week out to hear from them so i’ll keep an eye out mid week
  16. does anyone have the current harmony of the seas concierge cont act email we sail on the 14th and haven't heard from them yet to prebook some things
  17. Thanks figured it would not be an issue and I knew this group would have some insightful comments
  18. Anyone have any experience with using/giving their daily drink vouchers to other cruisers?? As example , as a new D+ I will have 5 daily vouchers to use but I always buy the drinks package, so I have no need for them, BUT on our next cruise we will be traveling with my parents( separate cabin) who do not drink enough to justify the package. I would not be violating the " do not share" aspect of my drink package and I assume I could say to the bartender use a voucher on this drink and hand it to my father would not be frowned upon?? Thoughts?
  19. Sounds like odds are in our favor
  20. Has anyone been on a Royal Caribbean ship for a charter cruise and gotten C&A points? we are booked on an 80's cruise on Mariner in the spring and wonder if we will get C&A points for the cruise
  21. With RC going bigger as they build new ships will they ever go back to building smaller ships? One of the benefits of the smaller ships are the smaller ports if they continue to build only large ships wont that continued to limit the ports of call RC will be able to sail to, pushing business to other cruise lines that can access the smaller ports I fully understand the profitability of the larger ships I even read somewhere that they could sell it under 50% on oasis class ships and be profitable which I doubt could happen on the Majesty or Empress for example.
  22. Very interesting reading to my question and I appreciate everybody’s input I guess I’ll just have to wait to see what the cruise line says as I get closer to June and I hope that with vaccines coming out sooner than later the CDC may lower its warning levels back down to 3 or lower and it may become a moot point
