klemire626
I booked my 2020 cruise last month and I just noticed that there was a price drop of over $600 with this most recent sale. I was told that I have a non Refundable deposit. Does that mean I can not re book with the same cruise/same date to get the better price? tiny260
You will have to pay the change fee I think, $100 each, so figure that in and if there is still a significant savings, go for it. You might also lose other perks that you might have gotten on the other promo, IE., OBC. If you used a travel agent have them do it for you. melski94
Where are you from? In North America, you can reprice with a NRD however in other markets (UK, Australia) you can't without a complete rebooking and loss of some deposit. Lovetocruise2002
You should be able to re-price with without any penalty provided it is the same ship/sail date and that you are in North America. I book non-refundable deposits all the time and re-price. The $100 change fee only applies if you are changing ships/sail date. It will not affect your deposit since you are not cancelling it. Hope this helps.

Have repriced a November 2020 sailing three different times over the last six weeks without issue. CruisingKitty and Baked Alaska

No, cruises.com is effectively your travel agent. You must go through them. CruisingKitty

As Matt mentioned you have to have the travel agent do it. My biggest advice would be to not form it as a question “can I reprice” but to just say ”this room went down “x” dollars or added “X OBC” and you need to reprice the itinerary. My repricing conversations only took about five minutes and one was even with an agent who was brand new. WAAAYTOOO
SpeedNoodles
I tried to reprice my next cruise with THE (non-MEI-I-paid-her-a-hefty-booking-fee) travel agent a few months ago. She didn't remotely understand what I was asking and told me I was ineligible. I decided that the savings were negligible enough that it wasn't worth risking my sanity to get the box of block letters out of the toybox and spell it out for her. So, yeah, not all travel agents know how/that you can do this. CruisingKitty and Al Horner

I hadn't cruised for nearly 10 years when I booked this particular cruise, hadn't found this site - I'd used the travel agency before (so many years ago), and they were listed on Royal's website as being "experts" in Royal Caribbean booking (hint: they are not even remotely - the travel agent we were assigned didn't know as much about Royal Caribbean cruising, or cruising in general, as I did, and I hadn't been on a ship in 10 years). It was an annoying error on my part, but once we're on the ship we'll be free of them ... forever. It's just advice for others that not all travel agents/agencies were created equally and hopefully I can keep someone from making the same mistake that I did. I had used my dad's TA for almost 10 years, but started realizing their benefits had diminished (like any OBC or other perks they give) They price they quoted was the exact same as we could get online. Thus, we found a new TA that is local to us. I've already had her upgrade our next cruise, reprice and even add some casino stuff all within just a few days with no problem. A good TA will be able to reprice without any hesitation SpeedNoodles and CruisingKitty

The only time I’ve ever paid a fee for a Travel Agent was when I was working for a company and we had to book all the travel through an agency that the company owned and it was offshore. Yeah, it was probably just a money laundering scheme from the owner. SpeedNoodles

It's actually a pretty large travel agency. I think they just count on people being too stupid (me) to know better. WAAAYTOOO
