  1. Following along. I will be getting onto the ship as you are getting off. Enjoy your cruise!
  2. I don't know about you guys, I would use the FCC towards an Oasis-class Loft Suite.
  3. Tip my hat to RCCL for making it right to those affected by the cancelled cruises. Can't believe those who want to "squeeze" more from RCCL. Just proves you cannot satisfy everyone.
  4. We used JetBlue and Delta as our airlines for cruising. But now JetBlue no longer has direct flights to FLL/MIA from DTW. So I will now stick to Delta. They have been great to us. Very accommodating when we used them for our destination wedding.
  5. You can call and tell the agent you would like a re-quote on a current booking.
  6. LOVE goat curry with some roti. Hope you feel better soon!
  7. I use Roam Mobility for my US phone/data plan. It's about $5.xx a day. Gives you 500mb data per day purchased, unlimited US/CAN calling/text. I believe they use mostly T-Mobile network. You can purchase the SIM card at Petro Canada. Your cellphone must be unlocked. My personal phone is dual-SIM so it's very convenient to just switch from my carrier to Roam Mobility.
  8. Thanks for sharing your experience. It is another reminder to print out policy information to have on you in the event you require assistance. Most international agencies will accept collect calls from the international operator.
  9. I will be on Navigator in 10 days. I am looking forward to the new waterslides, new pool area, El Loca Fresh and Hooked Seafood Restaurant. I was on Mariner in August and they did a great job on the refurb.
  10. The line up to the BBQ will be ridiculous. I would just go back onto the ship to eat and then head back out.
  11. In business, somebody is always copying someone. It is all about the marketing and execution of the concept.
  12. I see this as a win-win for both parties. Customer still gets to choose a sailing of their choice. It is one less customer that Royal does not have to spend hours/days playing the resolution game with the client/TA. I hope everything works out for you @mworkman
  13. This reminds me of the days of dial-up internet at my house!
  14. This is the problem. Too many inconsistencies across the fleet due to training and/or communication.
  15. You may want to check if you can transfer that reservation to a TA in Canada since it has to be booked through the Royal USA system.
  16. Look for the Quest show in the cruise compass.
  17. If your bookings are linked, you can make My Time Dining reservations on Cruise Planner or call Royal Caribbean. If you are using a travel agent, they can make those reservations for each night. Which ship will you be sailing?
  18. My first cruise out of POM, I did not know Budget did not have a shuttle from POM to MIA airport location. I was able to convince an Alamo shuttle to take me there w/ a tip. On our first RCCL cruise, we had the unlimited drink package. During our stay in Labadee, my wife accepted a drink in a souvenir cup. A few years ago, one of our relatives left their passport in their checked luggage. Luckily, the luggage arrived outside of their stateroom before the gangway closed.
  19. Pull the trigger and get it. You can cancel and re-purchase if there is a lower price prior to your sailing.
  20. I collect throughout the week. Then bet high and hope for a jackpot at the end of the week. I gained 1M loyalty points off a 2B jackpot win a few months ago. They eventually capped my loyalty points for a few days haha.
  21. Cannot be stacked. But if you have other passengers in your room, they can redeem their OBC vouchers on the same booking.
  22. I would bring a packable light down jacket and combo w/ a windbreaker/waterproof shell. Both should not take much room and will pack light in terms of weight. That way you can layer depending on the weather in March.
