FloatMe got a reaction from Galveston Steve in Should I be concerned? Travel agent question
Well, we are 90 days out and I was able to check in and able to print our set sail pass! Which, I assume, means Royal Caribbean shows that I have made final payment. I still find it strange that the payments were split in the manner they were. Interestingly, we only owe $100 for an April cruise that we booked with the same agency and every payment has been to RCCL.

Major shows in the main theater - Reservations just get you in the door. Same with the Comedy Club which the shows are generally twice daily usually same 2 comedians each show all week.
There will be at least 2 comedy shows in the Main Theater also.
There will be a welcome show and closing show. I don't remember the ice show taking reservations.
Cast members from shows like Moma Mia usually preform in both major shows (think Blue Planet) during the week as well as the opening and closing shows.

We never look ahead. We love retiring to the cabin each night and sitting on the balcony and looking over the next days activities.

FloatMe reacted to Matt in Royal being unfair to booked passengers!
Your TA should be the one hammering them for details and getting an update for you.
Just because Zumba group is on the cruise, does not mean they have booked the entire ship (unless I missed that detail in your original post).

FloatMe got a reaction from DocLC in Voom Internet packages
Although you can absolutely both utilize a one device plan we have found it worth it to purchase the 2 device plan. Primarily, it gives us the ability to text or call each other while n the ship. Additionally, I always forget to log out!

FloatMe reacted to coneyraven in Should I be concerned? Travel agent question
Exactly the same with my travel agent ..... As soon as the payment is applied, I receive a confirmation, almost identical as the confirmations received from Royal Caribbean Directly, It does make me feel better watching my balance due go down.

What a fabulous idea ! The a/c is never enough for me, even on the highest setting. I will also offer it to the attendant. This blog has become indispensable for ideas and info.

FloatMe reacted to DocLC in Are the drinks packages are worth having?
I have found the Royal Replenish to be a good value for me and have bought it on the last three cruises. It's about $20 per day, but with a couple of specialty coffees, a couple of sodas, and a nonalcoholic cocktail in the evening, not to mention bottles of water to take on excursions, it is easy to break even or even do better than that. However, the value of a drink package suffers dramatically as you add port stops. For instance, on our next cruise in July, we are on a 13 night voyage with a single sea day with 5 overnights and several late night stops. Since we'll be off the ship so much, there's no way I can get the value out of the drink package.

FloatMe reacted to WAAAYTOOO in Should I be concerned? Travel agent question
Why not ask the agent for an updated confirmation/receipt.
Every time Michelle makes a payment for me she sends me a new confirmation that shows the amount paid and the balance due.
There's no reason why this agent should do the same. If he hesitates in doing this, then I would DEFINITELY go straight to Royal and insist on getting a receipt from SOMEONE.

FloatMe reacted to Todd in Matt's "Gotsta" List
Gotsta List: looked at it and did not know what the posters were talking about here. So I did what I always do Google the term and see what comes up.
I think I should stay out of this one.
Urban Dictionary
gotsta A retarded abbreviation of the two words "got to." It is only used by idiots because of the following: 1. It's longer than writing "got to." 2. The correct way of saying it is "have to. Online Slang Dictionary gotsta to need to. A contraction of "got to". I gotsta leave. Definithing . Com gotstaa r*t*rded abbreviation of the two words “got to.â€

FloatMe reacted to PRC in Recent Airport Problems
And all the while, Israel is the most targeted country in the world, yet they have none of these issues.
Of course they're not afraid of offending anyone, not trying to create a jobs program, and not trying to pull the wool over their own citizens eyes either.
We could learn a lot from them.

FloatMe reacted to Michael A in Group Boarding question...
Thanks Float! However you are not correct... I just got off the phone with my TA and the RCCL Group Devision. There IS a Group point of contact on board who can coriddinate dinners, activities and shore excursions. As it gets closer to sailing they will forward that peosons contact information to me.

FloatMe reacted to EmersonNZ in Need help
Also if you cancel the cruise you won't suddenly get a refund for that $100. Basically for me it's my internet or a my coffee for the trip (Please oh please let them have good coffee.... Being a NZer I have high standards for coffee and I think I am going to be disappointed... ;))
