  1. You need the round one because there is a third point of contact at the top of the plug.
  2. She will have to get a new Seapass card as the background is different for under 18, 18-20, and 21+. As stated she can go to Guest Services on her 21st Birthday.
  3. As a consultant who travels, I do the planning and book the travel, book the packages. My wife is responsible for planning excursions, site seeing and the schedule on the ship. Once we leave the house I'm on vacation and don't like to make decisions. Works for us.
  4. My wife likes Purple Rain. THE PURPLE RAIN COCKTAIL1 1/2 oz. Vodka. 3 oz. Lemonade. 1/2 oz. Blue Curaçao. 1/4 oz. Grenadine
  5. If your Travel Agent puts your Anniversary in your reservation, you will usually get a Happy Anniversary song at your table (to the tune of Happy Birthday) and a piece of "special cake". Don't be surprised if it comes on some day other than your anniversary. You won't get a bottle of wine or a special drink unless you pay for it.
  6. We have done the Southern Caribbean twice (both routes). As stated it is a little more expensive to fly to San Juan but the cruise fares are generally less. San Juan is a great place to visit so if you have the extra time you can add a few additional days to your vacation. I would strongly advise coming in a day early. You can save money on airfare by booking at the right time with Southwest or JetBlue. As for the mix of passengers you will get more cruisers from Latin America and San Juan as everything is done in both English and Spanish than a cruise that originates from North America. Truthfully that makes the cruise a little more fun IMO. The islands of the Southern Caribbean are some of the best in the Caribbean. You can't go wrong!
  7. You can purchase a bucket of beers at the pool bar. You can take the extras and put in your cabin cooler.
  8. At 123.55 per share, 100 shares min. You are not going to buy RCL stock for the $100 discount for a 7 night cruise. But now it is at least a benefit that has some value vs. being non combinable in the past.
  9. This is the one we use: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MYBLNA6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 It has 2 USB plugs as well. Remember when using an adapter your device needs to allow dual voltage.
  10. They don't start until 9 am and take a break early afternoon. Then around 6 to 7 PM they return for turn down service.
  11. Type water shoes into Google or Amazon. you will be amazed at what is available at any price point.
  12. Star Class is only available on Quantum Class and Oasis Class ships
  13. I concur with Jane, I would wait a sailing or 2 "just in case". Love the Southern Caribbean & Freedom. Even in Mid March you won't be competing with spring breakers going out of San Juan.
  14. Your I-watch works through your phone's connection.
  15. We have taken a collapsible cooler in the past (no issue bringing it on the ship). The issue is getting ice for it. We used it when we went to the beach and stopped for drinks at a store.
  16. If you are looking at Galveston Park N Cruise it is actually right across the street from the cruise terminal. The parking is indoors in warehouses. Drop off luggage, park and you can walk back to the terminal in 5 minutes.
  17. When they offer the Drink Cards, as stated before, it is usually late in the week (Day 5).
  18. No there is no breakfast. Prior to "Perfect Day" most of the food was brought out from the ship. It is my understanding now all of the food is prepared on Coco Cay.
  19. It is a fixed price. $19 plus $1 per bag. $2 per person extra after 5 people.
  20. Janesta I can't speak to these specific cabins, but I can say from experience that near hump balcony cabins very from ship class to ship class as to where the extra space goes. Sometimes there is more space on the balcony or sometimes there is extra unusable space in the cabin. It varies. Try Googling the cabin numbers. Sometimes somebody does a cabin review. I even found a Youtube video of one of our cabins once. Good Luck.
  21. Wikipedia Royal Caribbean. There is a nice comparison chart on the post.
  22. We were on the Freedom in late Oct. The pizza was better than previous versions. You are never going to get Chicago Deep Dish or New York Thin. But for a quick snack or kids it will do. FWIW our waiter at Chops was being paid outside his normal shifts to survey people's impressions of the improved pizza. At least they are trying to improve and measure the results.
