Do they have to sign up before the cruise or be members prior to cruise to get the double points?

Has anyone brought something extra for their cabin steward? Food/Treats? Toiletries? other ideas
I always bring the little bite size candy bars and put them out each morning with a note of thanks. At the end of cruise I leave an envelope with their name on it with some cash in my stateroom.

There is a nice water park and zip line park in costa maya we enjoyed. It is just outside the port and has free shuttles running back and forth.

We are cruising August 2022 and have noticed drink packages are 30% off, excursions are 25-10 % off and internet packages are 30% off until August 26th. These seem like great deals, but does RCI offer better deals within the next year? What is the largest discount you've seen?
Thanks so much for your help!!!
Traditionally Black Friday cruise planner sale is best of the year in my opinion. No guarantees but like @Mattsays if you feel it’s a good price now. Book it and reprice later.

I always bring my own. No issues except like @AshleyDillosaid packing them.

My check in date was correct. I checked in roughly 7am and got the 1:00/1:30 (earliest available) check in.
Same here except 3:00/3:30 was only available time for me

We got a message from our genie this week that the Seafood tower is no longer available at Chops (we sail next week on Allure OTS). I'm not sure if this is because of the reduced capacity or if this is a permanent change, but thought I'd pass on the message. I know a lot of people who really like the tower.
What is a seafood tower?

Since this is basically a @Sharlaand MEI appreciation thread (and a "Why you should consider MEI for your cruise planning" thread), let me chime in with some praise. Way back sometime last year, Sharla went on vacation, and before she left, she told me who would be filling in for her. Of course, during that time, I found a cruise...and her coworker was right on it, and Sharla dove right in after she got back from vacation.
I tend to be very anxious/focused on getting things squared away (this week was an example due to a situation that changed very quickly), and occasionally I stumble over details or things get lost in a brain fog, and the MEI team has always been so very patient and helpful. I had a different travel agency in the before times (both before the pandemic and before I found MEI), and they frustrated me to no end.
The Blog definitely has cultivated the right partnership with the right agency! Enjoy your vacation, Sharla!
Well said. Agree with you 100% or as Royal would say 199.94528%. LoL sorry another thread.

How hard can that be? They are a billion dollar company, I'm sure their "interns" can come up with a program to handle this. Home Depot and Sam's Club send me an itemized statement of all my transactions every month
Ha - I think they use cruise planner math for refunds too!

You weren't able to use them both on the same cruise were you? They told me when I used the 10% wildcard I couldn't combine it with other offers.
I have not been able to use both in the past on the same cruise.

I recall in the past when my MEI agent was out of pocket they'd have an auto reply to contact another agent. Maybe try sending an email to your agent and see if you get some sort of auto reply. I know some agents still go the extra mile and will respond while on vacation.
Just sent. No auto reply.

Do you have a refundable deposit? If so, the fare is higher.
I always end up bugging @Sharla to price check and then she does and then reminds me I have a refundable deposit so no better price for me.
I always forget that lol and always disappointed
No non-refundable.

My MEI travel agent is on vacation and I just repriced our November cruise under wow sale and there is a big difference. Can anyone at MEI travel adjust or do I need to wait for her to return from vacation?
-
No especially if seas are rough

Mine opened at 90 days but only 3:00 - 3:30pm was available and I checked in at 7:00 am

It would be best to sort it out before you leave the ship. Might be easier to resolve.

@cdixon22 So maybe 3pm is the last option. At least you should schedule that and then check back often to see if more times open up.
Thanks I did schedule as that was my only option just concerned because ship leaves at 4:00. Seems a little too close for my comfort.

@cdixon22 Try closing the app and going back in. Originally I tried at about 1am, because my cat was hungry, and it said check-in was closed. Closed the app and tried again and the times came up. According to Facebook all the 1pm slots are gone and the earliest is now 2:30pm but that is after check-in has been open for a full 24hrs, lol
Thanks I did. I even logged all the way off then signed back in. 3:00 is the only option I guess I will keep checking.

There is no set time, just keep checking on the 90 day mark. You should be able to get a 1:00 embarkation time.
Checked in at 7:00 am and only 3:00 pm came up?? I have a hard time believing that many people were up and checked in for a November cruise. Good ole Royal IT does it again…..any chance an earlier time will open closer to sailing?

There seems to be no exact science as to when the check in options opens. My cruise was 90 days out yesterday and I was able to check in with no issues. I'm happy that I don't have to worry about that anymore!!!
We are coming up on our 90 day mark and app indicates we can check in on day 90. Is there a time of day it opens to be able to check in on that day 90?

Walgreens in my area only offers a Rapid Diagnostic Test (ID Now) results in 24 hrs or a Diagnostic Lab Test (PCR) results time frame varies. No Rapid Antigen. Is the RDT (ID Now) accepted by Royal? I have searched and all I find is PCR or Antigen and the PCR has diagnostic in the title so totally confused. CVS would be easier but no appointments. Clear as mud? Thanks in advance
