Haven't had any issues with the food (will note I've never eaten in the Windjammer for dinner). Last cruise only disappointment from the MDR was the chicken parm. In the WJ we usually do lunch, but I always get a salad and sandwich (really can't mess that up)

I’ve had FCC a few times and they always been very upfront about the expiration date

Things that have been mentioned
1) A lot of walking and taking the stairs. Until I started wearing a step counter I didn't realize how much I actually walked on the cruise
2) I try to be disciplined at breakfast and lunch, allowing me to indulge at dinner. Not as hard as I originally thought, much easier than at home. It's pretty easy to grab a salad for lunch

Usually the people from NL are very friendly and laid back. Surprised they didn't give them a few extra minutes. Were these guests late getting back on the bus at the other stops? Looks like the museum is only 4km from the port, they could have left at 3:15 and still made boarding time

Serious question, because I have never heard of a dog for detecting low blood sugar. Why would a dog be used for this task in place of a continuous glucose monitoring device? I am not diabetic so I know nothing about it, but I would think now a days with advances in wearable tech (things like apple watches and such) would make it way less of a hassle on a daily basis than the logistics of bringing a dog everywhere. I would also think a service dog trained for this task would be extremely expensive. Again, I am genuinely curious, and am not judging you.
Yep, have a sibling that wears it one. Connects to an app of their phone and sends an alarm to the phone if certain thresholds are crossed

Never had an issue bringing on meds in a pill sorter, we've just taken copies of the prescription/pictures of the label of bottle just in case we're asked (although never have been)

I was on one last year. They decorated and had a costume party in Studio B. That was about it.

Seeing they were dropped about a year ago, I wouldn't expect them to be reinstated

Noticed it the other day seems to have come with a recent app update. Interestingly not showing up on my wife’s phone

They're asking these insane prices because people are booking. However have to wonder if people are booking just to get a spot and are hoping for a prices drop to reprice or are they legitimately going to pay this price. They haven't hit any of the final payment dates yet, wondering when that comes around RCL will see a mass cancellation of people

We had them open on our last cruise. Kind of useless to be honest, it only opens the 2 balconies by maybe 1/3.

Yes I found that out a few years ago…and mentioned it in a blog on here somewhere! Always use the profile icon when using the app.
Yep, came across it on my cruise last Nov, then forget what I did and was swearing when I tried to check in for my August one. Now I have sticky note on the board beside my desk to remind me .
Funny thing is Royal can't even get a consistent error. I have an IPhone and my one kid has a Samsung. I'd got an error on the IPhone that check in isn't available yet, try again later. Try on his phone and I got you missed check in as it has already closed, try at the port

I found on the app there are 2 locations to do checkin. On our last 2 cruises if I used the check in icon on the app I’d always get an error (something like checkin isn’t open or it’s too late). When I went to the top and selected the profile there was a checkin button that worked

Trying to follow. A travel agent booked the drink package on RC directly for you? Usually you get a confirmation number from Royal about the purchase which your TA should have given you. I would expect if you logged into Royal you would be able to see it in your purchase history. With the confirmation number it would be pretty easy for RCL to address.
Or you bought some cruise package that was suppose to include drinks? Seems to be more something with you TA, in either case they should be the ones dealing with it

My son bought one on our cruise last week, was $70

Never heard of leaving a day early, but when we went on the Oasis we did leave a few hours earlier to beat an oncoming storm. It was a while ago but they sent us either a text or email the day before asking us to get to the port early as they were leaving at the latest 2pm (earlier if everybody was onboard)

We had Mason Jar brunch today. So.Much.Food. Good but perhaps a bit disappointing after all the hype. That’s usually the case with a new venue that is highly hyped. Good enough to go back ? Yes.
We did the mason jar for brunch today as well, definitely liked the cinnamon roll. Didn’t like the 10 laps of a track afterward to burn it off.

Stick with one Brand "Flight" and Hotel for rewards?

Airlines I go with whatever is convenient at the time (even when I travelled for work could never really accumulate enough point for anything worthwhile). Hotels they all seems to be owned by one of three companies and we usually stick to one company, also as an added bonus I can book personal travel through my companies travel tool and get the corporate rate (usually a discounted rate and perks)
