Yes, I had a medical refrigerator for my sailing on Ovation. It wasn't in my cabin when we arrived, bur the steward wasted no time in getting one for us.

Other cruise lines go to Tonga and Fiji including Celebrity.
Royal tends to stick to Mystery Island, Noumea and sometimes Vila. The itineraries are less diverse than they used to be because some islands never reopened for cruising after Covid, and also some places limit the ship size. Maybe having Voyager/Adventure will provide opportunities for new ports.
Cruises also tend to be shorter now than they used to be with less opportunity to travel further afield. I think it is the cruise ship equivalent to chocolate bar manufacturers who make the chocolate bar slightly smaller each year but still charge the same price.
Also the ships are travelling slower so a port stop that used to take 2 days now takes 3 so the total number of port stops is less.

My wife and I were booked on the Tasmania cruise at the end of March. We had to cancel because my son decided to get married. Must have been an omen.

If only Royal can hold on to the SeaPass cards until the guests report to their muster stations.  Or probably have guests claim the cards from those stations.

I just checked the current price for my Ovation cruise next year. If I was to book it today it would cost me $2000 more than it did when I first booked it. I assume that this is why @Matt recommends not to wait for the sales lol. 😅

Same thing happened to my sailing a few weeks ago. It still showed in my cruise planner though and also on the app. A few days later it reappeared on the RCCL website.

SeniorCruiser reacted to Ray in if you have been completely vaccinated do you have to have had the booster also??
As mentioned above the rules In Europe are different as a timescale is involved for those that have received vaccine.
To be considered as fully vaccinated your 2nd dose cannot be more than 270 days old, if it is you are considered as unvaccinated.
For these people the only way to be considered as fully vaccinated is to get the booster.

In Australia we only have Quantum class or Radiance class, so my vote is with Quantum.

Just for information, Kathy and I sailed on the ExOS in March, 2022 sailing out of San Juan.  I've been on EXOS many times and found the ship to be clean, well maintained and properly staffed.  We had a great cruise but then again we went with an attitude of having a great cruise!
