  1. All good input here and the note about an older plan may come into play. My specific plan is an older one and has this option when clicking through the Roam Mexico panel under My add-ons.
  2. Have never used it but AT&T does offer an international day pass for in-country service. It's $10 for the primary line and $5 for each extra line. It uses your existing data/talk plan. You can sign-up by country on their website prior to your cruise. Also believe they will text you the offer if you take your phone out of airplane mode while ashore. Further most of their plans offer free service in Mexico since AT&T is a carrier there. You have to enable the free sign-up but it's a set it and forget feature. We've used that in Cozumel, Costa Mya and Cancun for years. [BTW I am AT&T employee and am only sharing this info for informational purposes.]
  3. Shorter cruises have their place but what I don't like is that many of the larger ships do them. 4 or 5 days on a Radiance class is fine but 4 days on an Oasis class and we barely have time to do all the things we enjoy.
  4. A few weeks ago, they did a 2x point promo on any purchase, so we paid a final balance. Didn't expect they do 4x points, but they did!
  5. Slight threadjack ... After disembarking one cruise we were missing one bag. Waited for hours for it to appear and finally decided to just leave and deal with it later as we had a 7-hour drive back home. This was in Tampa, so my wife and daughter waited out on Channelside while I went to the garage to get the car. When I picked them up outside the deck my wife was standing there with my bag! I was like what???? She said there was a large van loading up people and their luggage and one the people asked, "Who is [insert my name]?" She yelled back. "That's my husband's bag!" Since then I've never once left my bags out for disembarkation.
  6. We always tip for our diamond drinks and on a recent 7 night we had 3 of our vouchers "stolen" from the MDR on the last night. We did not know it and went to the Schooner for our final nightly nightcap. The bartender told us we only had 1 drink left. Said to give it to my wife as I headed to customer no service. As you can imagine the line was crazy long & they could not resolve it ... As I furiously left the counter my wife was standing there with my drink of choice. She said the bartenders gave it to her to give to me. It's not that we cannot afford to purchase a drink, but I was so touched that these guys felt bad for me that they made a comp drink. Not sure if tipping helped but it sure didn't hurt.
  7. Before the OP contacts his attorney, you can get this status even if you scan your sea pass to redeem the free spin in the casino ...
  8. If you mean the one at 11PM in the Viking Crown, security checks id for that. As Scott noted, there will usually be an all-ages silent disco activity on the promenade. Usually in the afternoon.
  9. We flew into Baltimore and had a different experience than seems that most of the commenters have reported. Upon arrival we took the train to downtown and were able to walk to our hotel - Lord Baltimore. From there we were able to walk to many dining/entertainment venues. The next morning we took a Lyft to the port, and it was super easy. On disembarkation morning we got super lucky in that a Lyft driver had literally just dropped off a friend to work at the port and was sitting in the parking lot when we requested a ride. The app told us our driver was a 1-minute walk - LOL. We had her drop us off downtown where I camped at coffee shop doing some work before our flight later that afternoon. Took the train back to the airport and off we went. We felt safe walking around the entertainment center in downtown. Since then we have read of crime in that area but honestly that happens everywhere all the time in most major cities.
  10. We were there early May. Though it had not opened yet the new development looks nice. The museum interest me the most and do plan to visit the next time we're there.
  11. My recent experience on Serenade with Teams was the same as Traveling Mike - though I did not enable video primarily because I didn't want to make everyone else jealous that I was on a cruise ship.
  12. Will be on the May 4th sailing and have not been notified of any iteneary changes - to be honest though Haiti has had these problems for some time, and they became more acute after their president was assassinated in 2021.
  13. When you book a Next Cruise and later see a price reduction, do you lose the OBC if you reprice it?
  14. You can bring wine/liquor and security will hold it until the last night of the cruise. The stateroom attendant will leave it in your cabin. Also don't think they'd care about pasta. We've brought truffles and other snack items (chips, etc.) without issue.
