We did this with a group of people going on the cruise.  One of the people arranged the trip with a tour/bus company.  We ended up taking 95 people on two busses.  Make sure you book early because the Blue Lagoon sold out.  We used Grey Line Tours but you can see all the tours we arranged and the details on this google sheet (look on the tours tab)  New Voyager TA 04 Sep 2022 Roll Call_Tours_Activities - Google Sheets

Just got my Royal Up bid accepted for my upcoming cruise to Norway on Anthem.
We're not talking suites here, but I'm pretty happy to be going from an ocean view guarantee which had us assigned (thank you "bar code trick") in the farthest forward OV cabin on deck 3 to a large balcony cabin on deck 7 for a minimum bid of $50 pp. 😁
This is the first time in 3 or 4 attempts that I've actually won one of these things.

As long as all of you have either a valid US birth certificate or passport, or a valid green card (US residence) and valid passport, there shouldn’t be any issues.

We’ve always referred to these events as the “cattle call”.  Complete waste of time, IMO.

Which is kind of silly since it's the same end result and their photo is already on file.

Excited to be going on this cruise. Have always wanted to visit Iceland and Ireland. Taking this cruise with my mom and brother.

Once you login to the RC website just select "View Boarding Pass" if you completed your checkin process.  From there you can get your SetSail Pass with the barcode.  Then use a QR/Barcode scanner app on your phone to read the barcode and the last 4 digits after the dash will be your tentative room number.  You can also get the Setsail pass from the RC app.
 

 

Bar Code Trick:
Method 1. If you have an Apple device, add your set sail pass to your Apple wallet. Numbers will now appear under your bar code. The numbers after the dash represent your cabin.
Method 2. Scan the bar code with a QR scanner from another device and that should also show you the numbers.
NOTE: If you see "GTY" instead of numbers, you truly haven't been assigned yet. One tip off is that if you don't see a muster station on your set sail pass then you almost definitely don't have an assignment yet.

Every passenger getting 1 complimentary hour in the thermal suite would be a good addition. And design the thermal suites to have ocean views.

I don’t want to reinvent the wheel, so let me share with you what I liked from a small European cruise line I cruised with recently:
1. Free beer and wine during meal hours.
2. Laundry room where for €4 one could wash and dry a full load of clothes. 
3. One hour pass to use SPA facilities (steam room, saunas, etc.) was €5
4. The kid’s club has a pool where families can chill and swim
 5. Did I say free beer and wine already?!!!

I always bring an old key card or similar card to put in the room slot. I carry my seapass card in my pocket. Now I can use the app on my phone to open the door…Depending on the ship.

Its acting wonky for me too - tried several times including my personal email, work email and the DB's personal email. It's the RC system and they know about it... the Customer Service Rep couldn't even send it to himself. They are working on it.

Yes, I only receive my invoices if I call and ask for them. Otherwise they are sent once the cruise has ended... weird. 

Yup! According to my TA she's had issues. Took a few days for me to receive mine. 

When booking eight or more double occupancy cabins there can be a concept of groups and that potentially opens up some different aspects that aren't available normally.  When a collection of cabins qualifies as a group and there are eight qualifying cabins there can be something called Tour Conductor credits.  The initial block of eight doesn't always equate to a free cabin (sometimes that takes 16 or more cabins) but the tour conductor cabins can go a long way to reduce the cost of all or one cabin depending how you elect to apply it.  
It's difficult to articulate all that goes along with groups in a post.  It's complicated.  Group space initially consists of cabins with two occupants but cabins with more than or less that can be added into group space in most but not all cases.  It's complicated and your TA will need to engage Royal's group department to see what is available for the cabins you have booked with them, assuming everyone booked through the same agent.  If not everyone booked through the same agent that changes a lot.  
Since you have a TA this is something to discuss with your TA and if your collection of bookings can leverage group tour conductor credits this may be a way to offset the costs for the family members as you see fit.
