  1. No more priority in Port Everglades since restart. Suites/Pinnacle first, then key and after that it is the order you arrived to the seating area. If you look at the latest C&A benefits you will see that it is no longer offered.
  2. As far as I know they are random, but all facets of the pre cruise check in must be completed, including health questions. There will be a separate seating area until boarding commences and from what I was told will be boarded after Suites/Pinns/Key.
  3. I work at Port Everglades. This is a TEST program only on Freedom at the moment. It is similar to the Expedited arrival that Royal was doing prior to Covid shutdown. We have not heard results from the test yet, but if all goes well they will be rolling it out ship by ship.
  4. You can do that but please note there is really no where for them to sit and wait and the area is very congested. There is an AVIS/Budget very close to the port at 2520 Miami Rd and I believe they may have a shuttle service.
  5. The unclaimed bag should have been sent to the warehouse with a chargerback attached (one that they do to match with the chargeback you did). I am surprised that the bag was loaded back on the ship, but this was probably because someone actually claimed the bag and then returned it. Most likely this coming turnaround day, the bag will be entered into chargerback and sent to the warehouse. Have you received an email yet from Royal?
  6. I do believe that you will have the full immigration in NY, face to face with USCBP official. In Miami you will have a normal debark going thru facial recognition. All crossings coming into the US normally have the full immigration at the 1st US port and this includes crew as well.
  7. Not all states have a raised seal. As long as it is a state issued BC, not the novelty one from the hospital with the footprints, it will be accepted.
  8. Just wanted to let you know how we do things with special needs In Port Everglades. In the morning, we are given a list with those who have registered with Autism/Special needs. As soon as the guest arrives and identifies as special needs, they are escorted immediately thru security, check in and upstairs for boarding. If boarding has not started they will sit in a segregated area and once boarding starts will be ushered in. I can't promise the same procedure is in place at other terminals, but I hope it will be similar.
