We depart on the Freedom tomorrow. All my bids are still pending. Trying to still be positive. I'd rather know than not. Thanks for the info. Hopefully I'll have good news tomorrow but this has been a little stressful.

I'm hoping it's the same for us. We are currently at the 2 Day mark. We sail Monday on Freedom and all bids show pending. I was hoping to know something today. Really want to surprise Hubby for our anniversary. Send good vibes our way please! 😅 Manifesting. 🛳🛳🛳🛳

Boom!🤯 It I done!  Officially got our upgrade!  Today at 3pm EST.  Right after my post above.  Sorry I didn't want to go into details about my bid, room, and ship until we got the upgrade(as only one room was available online during bidding)
Went from Ocean View Balcony to Grand Suite on a 7-Day cruise on Allure leaving this Sunday!  We have a total of around $3,500 invested for a GS balcony for two people(price includes the original purchase price, and the bid offered($1,250 per person/ $2,500 total bid)!  Way cheaper than what we would have done if we would have just booked the suite room to begin with!  Plus we can now eat at costal kitchen, and I can get rid of our internet package(sad no extra Cruise points for suite room but oh well)!!  Super stoked as me and the wife have been waiting all pandemic like most everyone to get back out and start cruising again!  Cant wait till our next cruise now for January!  Hope my additions helps folks that read this post/blog!!
    Royal Up works!
Also in closing, I think it is an extremely good sign when bidding, that if you have one of the bids pending, you will typically get the upgrade!🤙

Yes, there are. The cost is $10 per person round trip. They go from right outside the terminal but they drop off near the cathedral which is quite a long walk from the train station.
As an aside, if you are interested in churches, the cathedral looks absolutely stunning from the outside. We drove past it on the way to the station and the driver tried to persuade us to visit it instead of going to Soller. However, my family are not really into churches and, having done the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, that would have been pushing their tolerance level. I couldn't even get them to go into the little church in Soller! 😆

    It's haleewithaflair.com
I watched a video of hers either on instagram or youtube and I could have sworn that she said only one form was needed for your entire travelling party.  I just read her blog and it says that one form is needed per adult.  I would fill out individual forms for everyone that is going to avoid any confusion.

I intend to tip. No reason not to. But I would imagine that after not working much through all the happenings I'm sure there are expenses that need paid off. And since they can't go to shore they can only purchase what is on the ship from what I understand is an inflated price. I would rather pick up 30 bucks worth of stuff that can be shared than to throw 3 times that in cash so they can buy the same amount of stuff on the ship.

Everyone is welcome to do as they wish but I think many of the workers will appreciate when people bring stuff to the ship since they will get a larger variety of things and the fact that some people will show they truly care. I was also thinking about seeing if I could do a run to the store on my B2B, im sure I could take a drive to the store and pick a few things up if needed.

Almond butter for those with allergies.

I’m in the same boat on one of my royalup bids — one says expired, the other still says pending but no option to change the bid or cancel. We are still 3 weeks out so this seems early? But maybe a good sign? Bid a little over minimum for a GS 2BR from a GS 1BR

No one really knows all the details or the decision criteria.  The same company handles several different cruise lines as well as some airlines.
It's all about maximizing new revenue.  NEW revenue.  If they upgrade a JS to GS that opens a JS that they can charge a balcony to upgrade into which open up a balcony that an ocean view can upgrade into which opens up an ocean view that an interior can upgrade into.  But only if the right number of people will fit into those cabins and the associated muster stations and lifeboats for those cabins.  Upgrading two guests into a cabin that can sleep four might not make sense.  Upgrading four guests into a muster station with only two empty spots can't be done - everyone needs a spot in the right lifeboat by law.
The line of succession upgrades can generate more new revenue for one scenario more than a different scenario.  How much you paid initially or your loyalty status has no bearing.  It's all about new revenue.

I will also be sailing on Harmony in October and arriving in Italy. I filled out forms for both my Mother and I, but I did read on some blog that only one form needed to be filled out for the entire traveling party.  I'd have both forms filled out just in case.

I am sailing on Harmony in a couple of weeks and I filled it out for each guest, but made sure to also list each of us as family members traveling together.

However, I am confused since Italy wants you to list them as the final destination even though we disembark in Spain. It seems very confusing especially since we have three ports of call in Italy.

Looks like this perhaps won't be an issue for vaccinated travelers:
From the NYT: "If enforced, the new restrictions would only apply to unvaccinated travelers — the European Council already recommends that all visitors who have been fully inoculated with an E.U.-approved vaccine be allowed to travel. That includes the three vaccines available in the United States."
