Is anyone else having trouble with the website?  I log in to the cruise planner, click on the cruise and it prompts me for my username and password.  I enter it and it puts back on the page to select a cruise.

Entire thread about this added 2 hours ago.

issues here as well, but was able to clear cookies - refresh browser and get in.  my january of 2025 sailing beverage package was the same price as last week $85.99 pp/pd which is down from $91 pp/pd a month ago.

have tried that as well...Will get there eventually,. Good to know it's not just me encountering this..

@michaelp1446 There is a a cruise planner sale going on with drink packages up to 45% off, it'll probably get back to normal in a bit.

Of course prices vary per ship and sailing, but I was able to reprice our soda packages down to $8.99 a day from the previous $9.99 a day!

I was thinking the the "current sale" may have overwhelmed their system.... thanks

At first look, this is just a picture of the artwork on Odyssey, but a quick zoom in shows a creative way to hide a duck

I was on Odyssey last month... THIS is not a creative way to "Hide" a duck.   In order to get the ducks on that wall sculpture, they had to be thrown from the opening above the elevator bank on the upper decks. Those that missed ended up on top of the elevators... What happens when one of those thrown ducks ends up caught in the elevator cable pulley? This is an example of how something fun is taken to unintended levels. Some one on our cruise made and hid laser etched rocks! what would be the consequences if those started to be thrown from high above.  On Oasis class ships, the Horticulturist's dislike them because people will hide them in the live plants and others trample the plants looking for ducks.

It can be great fun if done responsibly, unfortunately, personal  responsibility seems to have gone out the window...sorry for the rant.

    Good morning,

I lost access to my old account. So sad. But here I am starting anew! I have a cruise booked for September. A few questions:

    1. The price of a daybed at Coco Cay is now $399 (my last cruise years ago it was half that). I will still pay this if I must, but was curious if these ever go on sale. I have been watching for about a month and while some of the other excursions go on sale, this one has not.
    2. For other excursions, I know to look at the bottom line and not the % off. Is there a general rule about when to book an excursion for the best price (i.e. 6 months before, 2 weeks before, etc)?
    3. If I book an excursion now and the price drops, would RC price match if I call customer service? I know I can cancel and re-book but in the case of the daybeds which are popular I wouldn't really want to chance losing it due to technical difficulties.

    Thanks!

WRT #3: Are you cruising alone? If there is someone else cruising with you, purchase the daybed (if price drops) under the other person's name to ensure you get it, then cancel yours. Only one person on a reservation needs to purchase a cabana or daybed.

If the buttons were reduced to make them less sensitive, I can't imagine what they were like before. As it is now, if you're within 6 inches of the button is lights up. As I said, on easily 95% of the elevator trips I took there were buttons accidentally hit either by people while I was on it or by people who had just gotten off. If it was more sensitive before, you must've not even been able to stand in the elevator without setting them off.

you just had to be standing close...I believe there were a lot of complaints when she first came out.. I did notice that not every floor would light up this past cruise as had in the past.

From the other posts, it sounds like people are having issues with buttons being pushed by accident when they get too close?

I have been on Odyssey twice. When she first came out, you just had to be within close proximity to have the buttons light up. I was on the same sailing as @jeffmw,

It seemed that the sensitivity had been adjusted from 2 years ago to reduce the number of false button pushes. When the elevator gets packed, there seemed to be a lot of people that accidentally leaned against the buttons. I don't know which was a brighter red -the buttons or the faces of those who realized what they had done😳

BTW Odyssey is one of our favorite ships for what we look for in a cruise.

Ok, so considering the beach club. 2 questions.

We have a jet ski excursion for an hour at 1030am. Do you think the beach club is still worth it if we are gone for an hour?

We reserved floating mats. Pick up location I know of is a bit of a walk. Should we pick up before going to Beach club? Or will someone at the beach club pick up for us?

As already stated mats are at the beach club. I stopped booking the jet ski excursion because the 4 previous times it was canceled due to wind/seas. I would hate to have you not book the beach club and miss out only to have the jet ski excursion canceled. Just make your lunch reservation for when you think you will return.

I just cancelled all of my excursions at Labadee for our cruise in June so I wont get stuck with OBC.  I really doubt that there will be ships going to Labadee any time soon.

Where are you seeing Labadee excursions are being refunded as O.B.C.. Our email for our upcoming 3/24 cruise states "excursions will be refunded to original form of payment..." up to 14 days blah, blah blah"

  10. We sail OY on 3/24 and got our email last night, after the April sailings were notified. When I saw the change I felt like Charlie Brown at Halloween..Instead of getting a rock we got Nassau😫. They re-arranged our DR port stop as well .

Oh well, will treat Nassau like a Sea day. No updates provided in the CP for Nassau excursions or the swapping of sea day to port day. CP availability will be closing soon. I feel bad for Guest services on embarkation day😵‍💫

That is a good point...I figured we would lose the OBC with a price adjustment but to your point, if we spend it then that is a hassle right there. Although I won't be spending OBC for 2026 cruise till at least around Black Friday this year, so maybe I could get lucky but it's unlikely, and probably not worth it if it's a wash. I just wish they would just stay with one sale for at least a week lol. They are making me think way too hard for a vacation happening 2 years from now 😄

I checked with my TA because there was a price drop after an OBC promotion. She confirmed I would lose the OBC.

In your scenario of using the OBC right away so it would be a hassle to take it away I offer this:

How many stories have we heard  of a cruise being canceled after final payment because of a balance due in the CP, even when it shows zero balance due. I wouldn't want to risk it. JMHO.
