Hobby is mainly Southwest so if you can, fly them. You also get 2 free checked bags per person. Bush is the bigger airport and is over an hour drive to the port.

I am hoping for a sale!!

Thank you for the info

This is just getting ridiculous... just say something! Sadly I will not be booking any cruise in the US until all of this is settled. I am going on a B2B out of Nassau because they seem to have their stuff together.
Hopefully somebody gives us an answer! Especially after Texas today decided to join in with Florida.

I am assuming they are replacing Liberty with Independence, just the way the dates line up. I wonder what they will do with those of us who are booked on Liberty if Indy does replace it? Will they shift our sailing to Independence? Or will we need to rebook? Hoping the first option!
My assumption is rebook but I hope its #1 for you!

Regarding the tone deaf comments....
I don't think anything Bayley did is a problem. In fact, I think it's a public service because we'd know nothing about test cruises without it.
However....
The fact Royal is the only line that hasn't cancelled July cruises yet is a problem, and whomever is holding the line for some miracle or who knows what is the "problem".
They should have cancelled July a long time ago. With reduced capacity almost certain, cancelling and then bringing back sailings for rebook later would be the simplest approach.
At the end of the day, I get the cruise line wants to hold onto sailings if there's a chance they may sail so they can actually make some money. But given what other lines have done (cancelling July), it should have been done at least 2 weeks ago.
Agreed. They need to cancel July + the ships that are being repositioned so we have an idea of what is going on. At this point they are just holding onto our money and aggravating the public.

My 2 cents: No cruises through Octoberish timeframe will sail as booked currently. Most of these ships are being repositioned which means cancellations. The best way for Royal to handle this is month by month cruises. When they start selling Freedom and Symphony sailings from their respective new home ports, they will have to cancel all other sailings on the ship and people will rebook. This is similar to when Adventure of the Seas was scheduled out of another home port and moved to Nassau. They cancelled all June-September sailings and people rebooked for Nassau.
This is all just my opinion, but it seems Freedom is doing 3/4 night cruises out of south florida, instead of its usual 7 night cruises.
All in all, I hope I am wrong! BRING BACK US CRUISES

It is a good price. Internet alone on sale is about $10-$11 and a soda on the ship is roughly $3-4. You also get the cup to use at the soda machine which has about 100 flavors.

Remember when we discussed showing up at the port at 10 am regardless of booked arrival time...craziness!
This was me every time!

Not a lawyer either... but I feel like if they make it so everybody is assumed unvaccinated, and if you want to volunteer the status on board you can change 'status' to vaccinated.
There is also language going around stating that once you enter the cruise ship you are technically in international waters and bound by internal law, which would ignore Florida law.

They are on sale usually on day 1 right when you enter the ship. I believe they were $5 and the color is based on your muster station.
I did not find them super useful as they did not work very well back then and I ended up just using the card a lot. it was useful though if the bar staff were able to get it to work

We've got a B2B in 12 days (!!!!!), and my plan is to send out the dry cleaning during the cruise. Might make most sense to send it out on day 1 of the second leg.
Us too!! Everybody talking about the B2B made us add the second cruise on today!
I will plan to do the same. And thank you to @stevendom57and @PG Cruiserfor the suggestions for laundry!

Hi all,
We have never done a Back 2 Back cruise before but we are planning on doing so in June. What is the laundry situation like? Does anybody have any tips? We wouldn't need to clean all of our clothes but it would be nice to not have to pack 14 pairs of some things.
Any advice would be appreciated!

We have known since we booked that the protocols would be changing up to the last minute. I was mentally prepared for full masks and social distancing protocols. I am also prepared for there to be some serious hiccups being the first post covid cruise in North America - I guess the check in thing is one of those.
Agreed! At this point I'd like to just know. And thanks for the reminder on the Bahamas visa!

I don't think it does, I think people want to be the 1st to check in, to get the preferred check in time, also for those that are planners and checklist types, it's something check off the to do list.
I 100% agree with you tho.. I'm on record saying they could announce things the day of and i'll be ok with it, as long as it's not announcing they're cancelling the cruise.
I am one of the ones wanting earlier check in times. We come in Friday so I'd love to get on board... where my drink package starts working haha!

I do know that Florida has a database of everyone who has been vaccinated...Barb had to entered everyone her hospital vaccinated into the Florida database. I’d be willing to bet Florida provided that information to the CDC.
That is good info... I am in Texas and I am not sure what they did here. I wonder if Royal has access

Out of Nassau? On Adventure? And you haven't checked-in? If that's the case, sounds like RCG is canceling. You should demand full refund. I'm 37 days out and the TA is pissed at RCG for not informing her of what's going on. TA was told that check-in will be at 30 days out. Apparently, many of TA's clients are in the same boat.
Yep June 12th (first cruise out). We were told possibly June 5th (1 week out) since they were waiting on the CDC to give the updated guidance which came out yesterday and they want to tailor it similar to the restart in the US. I hope its not cancelled!

They have closed the check in system for most, if not all cruises. I have a cruise in 16 days out of Nassau and we still cannot check in...
It is not just you which is good at least
