This bothers me, charging too much is one thing, selling a fake is another.Especially considering they are a authorised dealer, I'm assuming they are, iv seen Tissot sold on the ships.
Did you get papers with a serial number? I'm not sure if parts of the movement were replaced or if the whole watch is a fake, either way it's bad.
I'd get a hold of Tissot and say WTF, they would be furious to know that. Maybe a RC employee did a switch, not sure, but it's a very big deal.
Being a big watch nut I chuckle to myself when I see them peddle weak brands as high end, and they definitely do. Cheaply made watches marked down to high prices.
Selling Chinese watches as high end Swiss happens. The US has relaxed laws towards this, put in a small Swiss part on a Chinese watch and it's 'Swiss made'. That's one thing, pushing replicas as original is another.
Tissot is a quality brand, not top of the line but very respectable. Good choice for a affordable well made watch. Selling fakes would be a whole new low for RC, assuming it's true. I'd definitely let Tissot know of this.

I like the idea of keeping ads away. I'll definitely give it some thought and run it by the lord of the manor.

Jerel got a reaction from DublinFC in Boardwalk/Central Park Balcony Recommendations?
We went with the central park balcony and liked it.
More of a low key feel than the boardwalk, which we prefer. Seeing the shows in the Aqua Theater would be nice but we didn't mind walking down to see the shows up front.
We also liked the plants and trees, the classical music was good too. Central park has a very romantic feel.
We went on the same sailing as Matt, in fact if you look at his pictures you'll see his shots were looking right at my balcony. He's like that :).

True, that's why some more information would be helpful. But then again I'm assuming Taylorrka wants to know why it happened and how to fix it, which we can help with. On the other hand maybe he/she just wants to spread the word on how evil Royal is, which we can't help with.

I say wait a bit and see if anyone is using it, if not, take it.
People will put towels on chairs the night befor, not cool.
On one cruise I seen over 80 empty chairs (with towels) and 4 people in the pool, doesn't add up.
I'm not one to sit in the sun so I don't mind, but it sucks for my wife. She is a very polite kind hearted person, but mention towels on chairs and she gets MAD. Being non confrontational she doesn't want to take one over, even if we see it for more than 30 minutes. It truly ruins her day, very disappointing.
On one cruise she had to go to deck 4 (stinky smoking section) to get some sun dispite all the empty chairs.
I just wish the rules were enforced, my last few ships they weren't.

I have a habit of keeping my receipts just in case there is a mix up, a habit I can't shake thanks to the tax man. I check the TV every couple days just to make sure everything is as it should be, it always is. A couple of times I caught something minor I needed to correct but no big deal. I agree with rjac, no sence waiting until the last day, lineups will be insane.

It's my understanding the benifits can't be used with the normal sales and promos, and in most cases the normal promos are better.
Personally I wouldn't buy shares for deals, I'd by them to invest in the company.
Plus one could argue, if you own shares you wouldn't want profit going to deals for shareholders. If it were profitable (via discounts) to get shares, then it can't be that much of a help to Royal.

For Saint John I'd recomend the farmers market, oldest in Canada and very cool. Also any excursion that takes you out on the Bay of Fundy, amazing coastline with the highest fastest tides in the world.

Halifax is a great city (biased) and worth seeing. Many take the 'Harbour hopper', an amphibious vehicle that tours the downtown and hits the harbour for a view from the water. You would book privately at 'Merphys on the water', they are popular so it may be worth booking online ahead of time. They also have sailing ships with drinks and snacks served, they are fun too but I'd recomend the hopper just because of the land history tour. Although the sailing ships tour more coastline.
Peggys Cove is a must IMO, most popular attraction for cruisers. Very cool coastline with big waves (be carefull). It's about a 45 minute drive.

Any questions about Halifax feel free to drop me a line.

Jerel got a reaction from RobertJaf in AquaTheater Suite on the Allure
I got to visit AGSLC5's (Stephanie's) room yesterday on the Allure, it would be the one above WAAAYTOOO's suite. The balcony would be a bit smaller but was it ever awesome, I really liked it. I'd post some pics but they would just look like WAAAYTOOO's.
I thought it was cool how the balcony stretched around to the side of the ship, on one courner you can see the theater/boardwalk and on the other you see down the entire port side!
The only draw back for me is I'd spend allot of time in my room and not around the ship.

We're excited about it. Today the price went up to 2000 CAD for a garenteed balcony, Yesterday we paid less than 1200, that's a big jump for one day!
Plus they gave us our room today, not obstructed! I'm also happy because many of the rooms look straight down at a roof, ares does not.

I agree, balconys aren't worth the extra money. Although sometimes you can get a deal and this discount helps, not much but it does.
    Kind of off topic..
We booked a Alaska cruise that is coming up in 3 months. We got a inside cabin for about 1200 CAD a person. A balcony would be nice for the views but they are going for 2400 CAD a person, not worth it, I'll hang out up on deck. Yesterday we landed a garenteed balcony for a grand total of 268 extra, for both of us. I'm excited, we may get a obstructed view if I can't get a better room but that's still a great deal.

For me the big perk is to get in a shorter line at boarding, if you get there early it's not that big of a deal but still nice.
The top tier event was nice too, they had lots of free drinks, tables full of different flavours, just walk up and grab one.
And although not much but the balcony discount did save me some money on upcoming cruises.
Plus you can feel all high and mighty. On the last group cruise I was platinum for the first time and made a point to tell all these pathetic gold members how important I now was, lol. The term 'Gold lives matter' was thrown around more than once.

Last few top tiers we've been to there was none of that going on.  They had sweet drinks but nothing to eat.  We pretty much stopped going because of that.

Not sure who has the best poutine, that may take some research. The Coast is a local publication that may be the authority on that, they tend to rank the best and most popular places to go in Halifax. They should have a top 10 of just about everything.
A Donair is a local favorite, tends to be what people miss the most after moving away. When your hammered and hungry it's the go to feast, not the healthiest thing in the world. Basically it's alot of meat covered in amazing sauce. It might compare to what you would call a gyro, except it's almost impossible to wrap with the amount of meat they give you. Normally you eat most of your meat just to find a wrap at the bottom of the pile, then wrap up your scraps. Don't ask me what kind of meat it is, not sure anyone knows, lol.
I'd atleast try donair sauce, it's very good, any pizza place will offer it with a slice.
