The difference is on a B2B you have to disembark the cruise then re-board for the new cruise.  They are purchased as 2 different trips with 2 different booking numbers. It is not one cruise.  The CDC says the cruise lines can not offer / sell any cruise longer then 7 days.  They have not.  It does not say someone can not do 2 cruises whether separated by 1 day or 12 hours.

If everyone or most everyone is inoculated then why would we need to keep wearing masks?  Plus if masks are so effective why is the covid number still rising.  Masks do help I understand but not to the point to mandate it everywhere, even after the "shot"

Yeah..I wont be travelling anywhere that masks are required. They are annoying, uncomfortable, cant eat, cant drink, cant smoke, hard to talk/hear people and those aren't even any potential medical issues with them.
 
Maybe for the first few cruises while they are still being started up and not everyone is vaccinated yet, but I expect any company that wants my $$ once this pandemic is over, no way in hell I will support your business if you think masks are the "new normal"

Was told by RC that the charge to enter is a cover charge and needs to be paid by all who enter whether they eat or not. Just wanted to update you!

Not to argue with you but the cruise lines consider B2B cruises as 2 seperate cruises.  Totally independent of each other.  That being the case there is nothing to stop me from doing a B2B.  The cruise line is only offering 2 separate 7 day cruises.  There is no violation of any stupid CDC policy.

I disagree @twangster. I believe you're inferring what the CDC believes, and until they specify an issue with B2B, there is no reason to believe they look at consecutive cruises as anything more than two cruises in a row.
The CSO goes into great detail about what cruises line can and cannot do. They would certainly specify if there was an issue with B2B.
All that being said, CDC has no idea a B2B is a thing in cruising.  They constantly refer to cruises in terms of days instead of nights. 
Not saying they may not amend things as they go on, but they're not going to leave something as important as not permitting passengers on multiple cruises and putting permission to cruise in jeopardy(as you suggest) without actually stating that.

I am on the same cruise and have booked the Dragons breath Zipline, and the Wave jet driver.  I have never done the western route either but I know it will be a blast

That is a really good question I would also like to get the answer to that if / when you find out.

Just to follow up, I did call them this morning, I hate not knowing things. They told me they do not know...  lol..  So I am now going to let it go and spend it!   Thank you RCI that's why you are my favorite cruise line!  Merry Christmas to me!

Makes sense, the only problem is that I have already paid for everything.  I have no more excursions to buy.  Hoping it will last till I get on the ship and my wife can spend it

The new receipt  is the same as the old one with one differanc.  Te new one has a new $100 OBC!  I do not know why it is there and I do not want to lose it, Happy birthday to me..  Any one else get a early Christmas gift for RCI?  I am curious as to why but I am fearful to call them up and ask they might say ooopppss and take it away.. lol

I agree you on this and I think it has to do with where they registered there ships.  The USA gets no taxes or less from  them because they are all done overseas.

comparing daily (since thanksgiving is only one day), I think I eat more on a cruise. Mainly because I don't have to cook the food so I have plenty of time to eat and eat and eat on a cruise.

It wont happen. US is too big of a market to try to circumvent. They have no choice from a business perspective but to work with it.

I was curious how the big lettering would work out.  It was hard to tell with the limited pictures when the ship was inside. 
Now that it's outside it isn't growing on me.
