Cruise Pirate reacted to recogneyes in Royal Caribbean Stock benefits
I have always found the easiest way is to send an email with your name, confirmation number, ship & sail date and a copy of your statement showing ownership of the shares to [email protected]
They usually respond within 72 hours showing that the credit has been applied.

Cruise Pirate got a reaction from CruiserNic in Lazy River Coming to Perfect Day @ Coco Cay???
Now if they could only get the floats or whatever to pass by a bar every 30 min to an hour .. that would be wonderful .. or I got it .. in the middle of the lazy river a float up bar you can get to by a couple inlets.

Unfortunately, sometimes your C&A discount will not be the "best" discount and VERY often discounts cannot be stacked (meaning you cannot have more than 1 discount apply). If there is another discount that is being applied and it is a better discount than the C&A, the price will only display the "better" option. It appears as if the C&A discount has been ignored (and in fact, I suppose, it has been) but in actuality, the C&A discount has just been superseded by a more lucrative discount. It can be very difficult to decipher whether the C&A discount has been applied and ultimately superseded in favor of a better discount offer. That's a shortcoming of the cruise fare quoting system. It would be nice if the pricing would show that the C&A discount was considered and then ultimately overwritten...but it does not. This shortcoming also applies to other potential discounts, not just the C&A discount.
So, if you have some other discount showing, chances are, that discount has superseded your C&A discount. If no other discounts are displayed, then there is a problem somewhere.

I feel that the C&A discount should be calculated over and above the sale price. The loyalty perk should always come off the back end, otherwise its not a perk if you are just getting the same rate that anyone else can get.

They wont kick in until your cruise is finished. I just went through that on my Nov cruise. I didn't get full points until I got off ship at end of cruise.

I was thinking along the same lines. Similar to the XD Cinema on some of MSC's ships. Obviously scaled up based on the size of the structure.

OMG! I'm in love (in a very non-bad way) with all the respondents to this string. Common sense, fact driven, straightforward logic. The cruise ship is the safest place to be during this high sniffle event. All passengers and crew are tested, almost all are vaccinated, and all are aware of the facts. Nothing scares the fearmongers more than this group!

I am taking this as serious as "Quarantine for 2 weeks to lessen the curve".
So on the other hand the vaccination is not a real vaccination per se, it is more like a cough drop, it will prevent the symptoms but will not stop you from getting or spreading the virus. But once you have had it you should have Immunity per science prior to Covid which people like the CRC are not remembering.
So where does this leave us, same as prior to Covid, when you go on a cruise you take an inherent risk of everything a cruise could possibly cause. You might break a leg, net the norovirus, slip and fall or now get Covid.

Cruise Pirate got a reaction from Swar in Will cruising be put on pause again?
Are we not back to the fact that with cruising you take on the risk of things happening, how is this any different. Nothing is perfect, some cruises feel perfect but some are not. Are we just in a phase now that is if the cruise is not perfect they should cancel or stop cruising until everything is perfect. Good luck with hat especially during hurricane season in the Caribbean.

Do the colors on the dogs tail represent “vaccinated” and Star class?
I would think the standard wristbands would be chewed off if put on the dogs leg.

If it's anything like some other ships about 90% of the anticipated number end up on board. It will be interesting see what we sail with.
