  1. We'll stay with CK and avoid the MDR (except if we partake in a specialty restaurant). It provides more personalized service, less noise. In my opinion, just a more pleasant dining experience.
  2. Was interested too (for the experience). Seems the pricing was reasonable for a rental also.
  3. Definitely worth the try. Food is unique, and almost a little show in itself. The servers act within a quirky Wonderland theme. They also offer some themed cocktails that are only offered in that restaurant/bar. We found Wonderland enjoyable.
  4. But a good way to get your steps in every day. ?
  5. I thought St. Maarten was requiring "their" insurance for the Celebrity sailings originating from their country. Thought it was a $30 adder. (Was to cover costs if quarantine is required)
  6. Anyone seen an article that US port readiness to host cruise ships?
  7. My TA said she heard 70-75% for Nov timeframe on a call. I'm sure it varies by ship and maybe even itinerary and phase of the moon for all we know.
  8. Heck I just want to get on the ship. Can aways warm the roll under your arm. ?
  9. Agree. I think the MDR coffee issue stems from the carafes not being thoroughly cleaned. Years of coffee/water deposits. (Same as some airline coffees.) Maybe during the down time they've been replaced.
  10. I submitted the question to RCL on the site, they have it, but no answer yet. We've ended up with a couple of cards that still had open punches and they were honored on follow-on cruises. We just keep them with our cruise stuff.
  11. Doesn't he walk the corridor at night scratching at the doors of naughty children?
  12. Do you know if the coffee cards will continue to be "cardboard punch cards" or will they go digital so you just swipe the sea pass? Seems with the desire to go touch-less, they would go the digital route.
  13. Hoping to see the momentum build in a few more places, TX then NJ starts on the books. I'll feel more comfortable as more ports open up for service.
  14. Excerpt from today's Celebrity update: "But we’re not done yet. Next, Celebrity Silhouette will return to sailing with UK residents on July 3 from Southampton. Celebrity Flora will mark our return in the Galapagos on July 4. We start sailing to Alaska on July 23 and then Celebrity Equinox begins sailing from Ft. Lauderdale on July 25. By the end of September, we expect to have nine of our fifteen ships back in-service sailing with at least 95% fully vaccinated guests and crew. And we will continue to work diligently with local health and government authorities and the ports we visit until all our ships are back to cruising all over the world. " Unclogging the drain...
  15. These first cruises have been so hit-n-miss. I thought for sure something would happen to force a delay. Happy to see this go. Its like unclogging a drain - things should flow easier now. ?
  16. The activities don't load up until closer to the departure. Remember they're still working on the fun. There will be no fun before its time. ?
