We are currently looking into cruises for August 2024
We are looking at adventure of the Seas Bermuda, freedom of the Seas and liberty of the Seas.  We did Oasis this past summer from NYC as our first cruise with our children and it was fabulous. Cococay is amazing.  Labadee looks beautiful and Bermuda Also. However I'm not sure what ship is the best. Price Wise Also.  We did compare to carnival and it's competitive however don't like their itinerary and half moon Cay looks very cheap.
I feel like fort Lauderdale is more affordable for hotels and airport transportation since free transfers are offered by some hotels .

Those three ships are all pretty similar with the Liberty and Freedom a little bigger then the Adventure of the seas.  The Freedom is the newest in being cleaned up in 2020. But I would go by the ports if you can if it's places you haven't been and want to see.  Also compare the shore excursions.  Some ports offer good ones through Royal and some are slim pickens or sometimes aren't ones appealing to what you like to do. Ft. Lauderdale is really easier to leave out of, the port is nice and quick getting on and off the ship.  Anyone one of those three ships I don't think you can go wrong, but it is a step down from the Oasis class ship. Go around this site and read peoples reviews of those ships or even on his Matt's youtube channel and see if he has ship tour videos and go from there.

Hi everyone.
I would like to have some recommendations of non Oasis class ship if possible. Just returned from oasis of the seas and it was amazing. I know I started with the best but we would like to cruise again but prices are nuts. Any non Oasis class that doesn't feel boring or old? Even if Aqua theater is not there?  Liberty of the seas looks cool with that waterslide..

We are from Montreal and we drove to new York to the Oasis Aug 13 sailing. Saved us tons of money on flight and car rental and hotel vs going to Florida. However they are expensive for next year. And honestly believe it or not for next year from Bayonne is more pricey than from Florida. And if you had flight and everything from Florida comes out almost the same. That's insane.

Hi everyone. I just returned from an amazing cruise on the Oasis of the seas from cape liberty and we loved it! This was our first cruise and definitely not the last! 
I was looking into pricing for next year in August and i find that pricing is very much more expensive than what we have paid. I had booked this cruise back in January 2023. I know that the best times for sales is January to March. Should I expect prices to drop?

This is defiantly a topic that comes down to personal choices at the end of the day.  I am not a big drinker and usually just buy the refreshment package for the trip.  We love the coffees and mocktails.  Last trip I was on in December, I had the refreshment package and bought a total of 4 beers and a cocktail on the trip.  My wife is a wine drinker, so we brought on our two bottles for her, and purchased one more bottle while on board.  I do have prime status, but I rarely use it for the drinks because I am simply not a big drinker.  I have a lot of upper GI issues that prevent me from drinking too much, so that has been a major factor in determining what drink package we buy.  You may have other factors, or you may not and want to let loose with the DBP, at the end of the day it is your choice based on how much you want to drink.  The difference in price between the refreshment package and the DBP for two people is about $100 (since you both have to buy it).  Will you and your travel partner consume $100 per day total in alcohol?  Thats how I would approach the question.

Hey guys. Is January the lowest price of the year for August cruise? The Current sale is ending January 31 and it's making me crazy cause I wonder if I should book now or maybe get a better deal.

I'm thinking that they could at least push back the date of final payment to let's say 30 days before cruise because of the virus. To me final payment 3 months before in this situation doesn't make sense. 

They should just give refunds. I am canceling my March 2021 cruise. I am forced to take a fcc that I will probably never use by expiry date. That is theft.

We have a cruise booked for February 28 2021 and we will cancel it however we have a non refundable deposit. I understand that if we cancel they will give us the non refundable part on FCC. I am not happy with this situation because we all know that in February the cruise we were supposed to be on will be Much different but no info yet about that and they still want final payment by Nov 30. I hope something will happen with this.   How much is a deposit anyways that I Will loose?

if you ask me i think they are full of it. they can show flexibility like disney for the final paument. its very frustrating . 

yes but would you put your final payment down. if you ask me that would be pretty dumb to do so knowing that you might not get your money back in cash. this is what i find frustrating . i find it stupid to make people pay final payment when you dont even know what is going to happen.

Well my deposit is not refundable. I'm looking at disney cruise and they pushed back final payment to 60 days and refundable deposit....

My April 2020 got canceled but we canceled it 3 weeks prior to royal cancelling it themselves. No refund for me. Got screwed once. 
Rebooked for March 2021 and paid 1000$ more the then original cruise and I have fcc for the rest but not confident we can go. If I canxel getting another fcc.   Screwed twice. 
Got a special rate for March 2021 kids sail free. Would like to rebook for summer 2021 but kids sail free not applicable.. Screwed three times. 
They are holding on to my 4000$ almost and I have no power to recover it. Don't know what else to do.

It soo ridiculous that's its funny. The Americans are like now saying that people that are healthy should cruise no problem and they are only advising elderly people or vulnerable ones. Canada is telling everyone..... If I was a cruise company ceo right now I would not be happy with Canadian government and American government telling people this....
