UPDATE!  Are we surprised?  Royal was wrong.  My TA called back this morning when it was less hectic.  Spoke to someone else who was more knowledgeable and Air2Sea follows the final payment date.

YOU forgot!?! YOU!?!? Sheeesh….now I gotta obsess over everything hoping I don’t forget something tomorrow…especially something as important as the ‘Golden Ticket’!😂

Well then…I guess I’ll be on a first name basis with them in the coming months. Unless they get their issues corrected.😁

I called them.  The agent said the system is having issues with solo cruisers and their "double-double" points.
Looking back, I think the issue is not with the Double Points Promo itself.  It has more to do with the double points that solo cruisers in double occupancy rooms get.  I have had to call them about my double points several times in the past.

I'll have to see if that's a possibility.  It'll work for my October cruise, but the next one is the end of January and they'll be expired by then.  I didn't expect the tests to be a year old already when we got them.  Lame.

The problem with my local CVS is that they ran out of rapid test kits.  They only do PCR and the results take 24-48 to be sent.  I don't want to leave home for the port not knowing my test results

Yes, but I didn't realize that was going to be an issue before I bought them, or I wouldn't have risked buying 6 of them.

I agree with this - even with the big delay, the customer support representative I spoke with at Optum was incredibly kind and helpful and the wait wasn't terribly long. 

Update from my TA. Apparently air has not been pushed back. Just cruise fare. That is as of today. By tomorrow it might change lol

Also, just a heads-up: I ordered a 3-pack and only received the 2-pack. They're shipping me the third one expedited, so I'll likely get it later this week. For me, the wait isn't a big deal because with the 2-pack I received, I have a test for my Sept. 26 cruise and a backup in case something goes wrong -- or, more hopefully, a test for my Christmas Eve cruise. The third is basically a back-up in either case, since I'll be on a B2B from Dec. 24 to Jan. 9, so I'll get the test for leg 2 onboard direct from Royal.
I'm guessing I'm not the first it's happened to, because the rep told me "I know we're shipping out single tests at no additional...well...anything...expedited." Customer service was quick, helpful, and didn't try to give me a run-around, and I appreciate that.

Will be eagerly watching the B2B experience of you and the others sailing before December; I've got a B2B on Anthem, and I made sure to get the same cabin...which for cruises over a holiday was no easy feat. Hopefully they'll walk this back in some form in the future with the new email that's apparently coming soon.™

A friend asked me if she was a Cruisaholic because she booked another cruise. She said she did so just because she had an extra test kit and didn’t want to waste it. I told her “Of course not! You’re just frugal!”😜

Because of their shipment slip-ups, I'm now in possession of four test kits. Originally, they only sent me a two-pack. So I called, and the rep sent me an additional via overnight. And then I get an email from the Optum Store telling me that because of a shipping issue, they had only sent part of my order -- so they were going to send me the other test that didn't arrive with the first two. So now, I have a primary and a back-up for my currently scheduled cruises through December. I'm considering scheduling another, though, so either way, I'm covered.
That being said, I also just scheduled a test with CVS for the Friday before I head to port for a Sunday cruise. With my ability to cruise riding on getting this test just right, I'm all about redundancy.
And for those needing to deal with Optum customer service, I definitely agree that calling is the way to go. Very little wait, and they were very responsive. Of course, as we all know, YMMV.

I CAN'T WAIT! We also upgraded from a Central Park View Balcony to a LARGE Ocean View Balcony. Let me repeat that... LARGE OCEAN VIEW BALCONY.
It was somehow cheaper too, and hopefully I can soon say I went on the world's largest cruise ship! 😎 Just fingers crossed that it doesn't get cancelled. They didn't charge any ship change fee (not sure why, but I'm cool with that 😂) and I didn't have to deal with any future cruise credits either.
Also, thanks to all of you who helped me out!

I just moved my March Harmony to a March Wonder. At this point I only had a refundable deposit on Harmony. My TA (Sharla) just picked it up and moved it to Wonder. 
 
Like you, an OV balcony was $500 less on Wonder than a CP balcony on Harmony. That’s an UDP with a little left over! 

I'm so very thankful for this! I've had some unexpected news that kinda turned everything on its ear, and I was afraid I was going to have to cancel my back-to-back Christmas/NYE cruises, but with this, I'm not going to have to even remotely entertain that thought, and those cruises will be even more welcome as winter holiday escapes!
