SnickerTail reacted to twangster in Brilliance of the Seas Summer 2023
These thing can take a few days. If you call today I doubt the CSR will know what you are talking about. Best to wait a couple days so they won't handle it like it was you that cancelled the cruise for no reason.

FYI, you can see right through that black highlighter to the numbers and name underneath.

SnickerTail got a reaction from VirtKitty in Drinking package Tumbler cups out of stock?
Enchantment had the orange cheap cups - except for one that we used to protect a souvenir, we threw them in the trash. We would have kept the tumblers (and were looking forward to them). They have straws that are annoying to clean and no insulation, so they weren't worth keeping. The RFID was a sticker, if you wanted to transfer said sticker to a new cup (bring your own insulated tumbler), it's very easy, the shower steam heats up the sticker enough for it to fall off and then you can reapply to a new cup.

Either have we. On on our last cruise, the bartenders at Schooner didn't need to see our Sea Pass card after the 2nd day. Not sure that is a good thing!

Thanks, we leave on that ship tomorrow! Frantically throwing things in suitcases now.

SnickerTail reacted to Traveling Mike in Transfer to travel agent
Something to keep in mind is why you want a travel agent. If you are new to cruising, traveling or do not want to deal with finding and booking vacations you want a full service travel agent and hopefully one in a smaller shop. I would try to get one that you can contact on off hours. If you love searching and booking your own vacations and are looking for perks and a little help a big online could be the one for you. I use Costco Travel because I know what I want and most of the time book my cruise with the cruise line get everything the way I want it then move it to Costco Travel for the Costco Card I get after the cruise. I also like them because it is Costco and they pay the agents by the hour and they do not care how long they spend on the phone dealing with my issues.
So... ask yourself what are you looking for

Thanks everyone, unfortunately it was too late. Brock from MEI tried, but both booking transfers were rejected by the sales administration office. Next time I'll have a contact, though!
That was one of my hopes. But if it's outside the policy (which someone way more knowledgeable will post soon, I'm sure), not much a TA can do either.

SnickerTail got a reaction from Neesa in Transfer to travel agent
I filled out the form, but it might be too late - I found older posts referencing 60 days, which we're within, but I think we're slightly over 30 at this point. Thanks for the response, though.

SnickerTail reacted to memebag in MyVEGAS Slots Rewards - how to redeeem?
I was able to have this reward applied to my cruise! Thanks everyone. I'm adding a note in case anyone else is confused by the language they use in the future.
When the MyVEGAS app says:
"Reward must be used within 90 days of purchase."
The word "purchase" refers to the act of converting loyalty points (in the app) into a reward.
You can accumulate loyalty points in the app just by letting slot machines spin (lowest bet in Lucky Pinata and Rapid Gold had a very even payout for me). There's a maximum time to accumulate loyalty points each day.
Once you reach 50,000 loyalty points (it took me less than a week), you convert them to a $100 on-board credit reward. The app asks for your email address and name. You get an email with 5 questions about contact and cruise info. You send the answers to [email protected]. It looks like a real person reviews them and applies the credit to your cruise. The credit shows up in the header at the top of the cruise planner web page.
It's a pretty easy way to get a $100 discount.

Not for all ports of call - for example, Bermuda doesn't accept a letter of recovery.

SnickerTail got a reaction from VirtKitty in Cruise to Bermuda $40 FEE???
You will have to pay the fee just to board, unfortunately, staying on the ship doesn't save you from the fee.

SnickerTail reacted to DDaley in BioReference Email 7 Months Late
Anyone else who tested onboard for B2B or S2S in 2021 or early this year just get evidence of their negative Covid test?
I got an email with a negative result and was thinking "aww this poor person isn't gonna get their result since they sent it to the wrong email," but nooo it was MY negative test result from November 6th onboard Oasis.
Please note the hilarious Date Collected and Date of Report below. Super efficient over there at BioReference, huh?

Now I see them, multiple dates 7 night Perfect Day Bahamas Sept/Oct, but I swear it wasn't there this morning when I checked. More ☕ maybe?

SnickerTail got a reaction from Overstim in So which RC ships ARE currently sailing near the US?
That Oasis is listed out of Cape Liberty is kind of misleading, as there are only three cruises for that ship/port combo, and they're all next year (May, June, August). Maybe there were others but they're all sold out?
