Hello all, we will have a carry on bag with our sodas in it, that is a little on the heavy side. We really don't want to lug that thing around until our rooms are ready. My question is, can we leave it outside our room until it is ready once we get on board?
Unfortunately, no. The doors to the stateroom hallways are closed so there is no access to the hallway.

After The Sailaway And Some Runs On The Flowrider I Went To The Royal Promenade.
They Were Filming The Moring Show Then.
After Diner I Went To The Top Deck To Do A Night Photo Session.
Also We Passed The Carnival Liberty.
You Get A Wow Band For Free If You Get A Jr. Suite Or Anything Above That.
Also If You Are In Star Class You Can Cut The Line For The Flowrider.
Is this sign up at all times or only at certain times ?

I find it’s rather hit-or-miss with the gratuity envelopes. Frankly, more times than not, we do NOT get the envelopes but we tip as we go so it’s never a problem.

My waiter at the MDR gave me canned soda when I complained about the fountain soda he initially served me.
+1
Sometimes servers will give you a can and sometimes they won’t. Usually they will but I went round and round with a bar attendant at the WJ one day. I just walked away and then got my can of Coke from one of the wandering servers.

If price is not an issue, I would always choose an ocean view balcony. The balconies are bigger and they are more private BUT the neighborhood balconies can be a bargain sometimes. I’ve cruised in both and I have never had any issues where I would worry about cruising in either, again.

Welcome, Curtis !

Agreed. Not a dumb question at all !

The "Big" shows (musicals, ice skating, Aqua Theater, etc.) remain the same for many years....they don't change those. The Headliner shows - comedians, jugglers, etc. change regularly.
There is really no way to know for sure what your Headliners are going to be but you can email web_reservations@rccl.com and they will give you whatever information they have for your sailing. Just remember that they change things on a minute's notice and acts could easily change before your sailing.
Actually, you are at a great time (3 weeks prior) to get this information. If you inquire too far ahead of time the chances of the lineup being accurate is lower but at 3 weeks out they probably have a pretty solidified schedule.
Good luck !!

Looks like @WAAAYTOOO's procedure does not work for the room layout on the Ovation. I was in 3548, an ocean view room, where the bed was by the window. Could the procedure apply only to balcony rooms?
Yes, I think it only works for the balcony rooms and not sure it even works on the Q class at all !

I love, love, love this picture ! It brings back SO many <not so> wonderful memories of the delightful female teenage years. I feel so sorry for you, knowing what’s coming !
Only teasing. If you all manage to live through it, teenager-ness is wonderful
. That which doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger, right ?

I don’t believe that they will give OBC or any kind of refund for a price drop after final payment anymore (for US bookings). That used to be possible but to my knowledge, there are no refunds of any kind after final payment. If the price of an upgraded cabin falls below what you paid for your room or you want to pay to upgrade if an upgraded cabin is available, they will usually allow that - in other words, they will gladly take more money from you - but no refunds as far as I know.
-
If you haven’t paid your final payment yet and you are already at 90 days until sailing you may not still have a reservation ! You’d better check quick.
I know of no advantage for checking in early.

Good luck. I have a fear of doing such a thing, myself. I hope you get your money back.

Welcome to the blog, mariette costin.
There are 2 ways to purchase any of the beverage or dining packages. You may purchase before you sail or after you are onboard.
Generally, you will save money by purchasing the packages before boarding. You do this either by booking it online through your Cruise Planner or by calling Royal Caribbean and purchasing over the phone. You will be charged for the entire cost of the package at the time you purchase.

If you’re talking about a free spin in the casino, they give you some special tokens that you use in a special machine. Usually you win nothing but if you do win, it’s usually a trinket like a set of dice or a marker. Dan won a casino shirt once. I’ve never seen anyone win anything of real value.
