I have never seen a GTY for a specific room category (I.e. 2B). They are generally for a broad category such as inside, ocean view, balcony or suite which permits Royal to assign whatever subcategory is available. Not saying it can’t happen...just never seen it.

Is there any time requirement for a spouse or partner, if not legally married?
To my knowledge, no. They just have to have the same address, as far as I know.

Thank you, at least I know that I am not alone, and am in good company! I just hope that they change the show to something better before I have the chance to sail on Oasis again!
Yeah. Unfortunately, I will be on the second cruise after it comes out of dry dock (Dec 1) and we’re stuck with Cats. Ugh. Oh well...they can’t force me to go !

Hello everyone, I have 2 questions, the first one is, does anybody know if the Johnny Rockets milkshakes are included in the Refreshment package and the second question, is the coffee unlimited or do you get the punch cards that you get when you buy it separately. TIA
I’ll answer the second one first...the easy one. If you have the refreshment pkg, it includes unlimited specialty coffee. The only exception is for Starbucks coffee served at a Starbucks kiosk, which is not included.
The JR milkshake is a little less clear. Some have reported that you can get JR milkshakes with the refreshment pkg as long as you pay the cover charge. Some have reported that you can get the milkshakes if you have the refreshment pkg withOUT paying the cover charge and some have reported that you could get a milkshake only if you have the deluxe drink pkg. So the answer is....it spends on the ship and who you ask.

Sorry...and I feel the same way.

No, it has been reported that Cats will remain on Oasis. Apparently it has something to do with a contractual issue.

If you change either the sail date or ship (or both), it is a cancellation and rebooking unless there are extenuating circumstances that caused Royal to price protect your cruise (weather, mechanical issues, etc).
If your original booking is a refundable deposit then you can get all of your money back but will be subject to current rates for your rebooking. If you booked a non-refundable deposit then there are $$ penalties. Unless you specifically asked for a refundable booking then my guess is that it is NRF.
I think you are looking to just switch your sail dates and make an even-Steven switchroo, but that’s not possible unless Royal has cancelled your original cruise for some reason.

As an update, we found out there was somehow NO email on file for us..which explains why we've received ZERO communication! So I've since received an introduction email for the Genie, explaining to book shore excursions/spa things, etc. Our genie is Andrei..not sure if anyone knows her. I'm curious to see what the next piece of communication is, I'm sure we've missed the survey window. We shall see what happens.
Wow, that’s hard to believe ! I’m glad you finally got some comm going though. Late is better than never ! Oh well...you didn’t miss anything with that dumb survey.
I have not heard of Andrei before so she must be newish.

Does anyone know if you can get OBC if the price drops past final payment? I have a TA so do I need to call them to see if Royal would give any extra OBC? My Nov. 16 Anthem sailing dropped a good $600 on balcony rooms with the current sale but we're already paid in full. Wondering if they would give any extra OBC in this case.
Not anymore. You might be able to upgrade if the price of an upgraded stateroom has fallen blow what you paid for yours, but the days of getting any rebate after final payment are long gone.
Of course, you CAN still reprice your cruise after final payment but you would incur a cancellation fee (since a repricing is essentially a cancellation and rebooking) so it’s rarely cost effective to reprice after final payment.

If you're taking multiple trips a year and spending $15000 or more ONBOARD each trip, I'm available to be adopted!
Lol. Not spending...just charging.

Rate it totally depends on which card you use and which bank backs the card.. If I remember you use Royal Caribbean Visa Correct? I have the same card and the only issue I have is it takes 5-10 days for the daily holds to drop off.. Not really a big deal just slightly annoying.. But My friend uses Amex and he never has an issue.. Then one time I used my Chase Visa and also never had an issue lol so I think it might be which bank backs which card but I could be wrong.
Yes, we have the RCCL Visa card.

I have never had any kind of issue when using a credit card on Royal (except for the time that we forgot to tell the CC company ahead of time. Never made that mistake again). Our bill is usually in the $15-20K range when we finally disembark and we’ve never had a hold or maxed out our credit or anything of the like. Maybe it’s the difference between using a CC and a debit card ?

This is one of those AI IT things that happen from time-to-time. It’s hard to determine whether it’s a great deal on the “you pick” option or a crappy deal on the “we pick” option. It helps if you’ve been watching prices and know what the “going rate” has been in the past.

Welcome to the addiction!
While I have never felt unsafe in town in Falmouth, it’s just not a particularly relaxing and enjoyable place to wander around. If you are on an organized excursion, it’s fine (although many Falmouth excursions are a fair distance from the port (1 hour, for the most part)) but immediately outside of the compound in Falmouth isn’t a cheery place to walk about, IMO.

Hello all, we will have a carry on bag with our sodas in it, that is a little on the heavy side. We really don't want to lug that thing around until our rooms are ready. My question is, can we leave it outside our room until it is ready once we get on board?
Unfortunately, no. The doors to the stateroom hallways are closed so there is no access to the hallway.

I find it’s rather hit-or-miss with the gratuity envelopes. Frankly, more times than not, we do NOT get the envelopes but we tip as we go so it’s never a problem.

Hi, Emerson ! Welcome back
The complimentary internet with full suites is a 1 device pkg per person Surf & Stream. The service on Harmony was excellent the last time I sail Harmony but it’s been a couple of years now.
