Not sure, but I looked at some of the Cruise Compass from ships that port at Grand Cayman. Its seems that tendering starts at 7:30am or shortly after. There are some special consideration should you depart after 8am (need to get a ticket). I suggest looking at the Cruise Compass section on this board to find your ship and a recent cruise compass for a better idea. Below is one example from Adventure of the Seas:

Wish I could tell you how you could pass the time, but I leave for my cruise on Saturday and still haven’t found a good way to do that! ?

Aaaahhhh!! I’m so excited, but it’s sooooo far away! I talked with Stephanie from MEI today and decided to go for it. We will sail June 2021. Thanks so much for all the advice you all have given. Especially the part about getting a TA! I can’t imagine trying to figure this all out on my own. 
Now I need advice on how to pass the time until June 2021?!? Lol!

A benefit of sailing the older and smaller ships is that they come with a standard TV and original remote control.  They were never integrated into the ship systems to check your balance, order room service, buy pay per view movies, etc.  
On newer ships in some cases you can't even physically get to the connectors on a TV and when you can they are locked out.  The TV's on newer ships are wholly integrated with the ship's technology and that is their sole use case.
In the case of Vision class and Empress the TV's are standalone TV's so I just use my phone with an HDMI adapter to watch my phone on the TV.  On Majesty many cabins still have older displays that don't have HDMI inputs so on her it depends on your cabin type.  Suites and spacious ocean view cabins tend to have newer displays, regular ocean view and interior have old displays.

I have to agree with what everyone else has said. I was on Anthem a few weeks ago, and I was really impressed with the internet. Even though we had constant cloud cover for several days, it was much faster than any Carnival ship I've sailed.

Sure enough, read through the reviews and people reported that RCI confiscated the same one that Peter2 posted and the same one I purchased. STATEROOM TV MOVIE: “Poseidon Adventure”
Some months ago I made a joke about showing “Poseidon Adventure” and other maritime disaster movies on the stateroom TV.  I can’t believe they’re showing it right now.

Is it worth is just for better black coffee? I don't really add things to my coffee but I do like a premium coffee bean. 

I have an extra one of these that you can use for your dual voltage items. 

Glad I checked!  I go on 1-2 music charters a year on the NCL Pearl and Jade and I've gotten so used to the USB port next to my bed.  I'm glad I thought to ask!
Thankfully, I have an adapter with several USB outlets.  I can charge the daytime use items at night and the evening use items during the day.

It's hard to know.  Some port employees will simply deny any power strip at all which is why there are so many recommendations for multi-port USB chargers.  There's really no such thing as a cruise approved power strip.  Some manufacturers put that label on their device but it's not an official endorsement.  Even if it meets all the rules of the cruise line, the people doing the inspections work for the port not the cruise line, and if they say no, that's that.

How else is Mexico supposed to pay for the wall???

I'm on Empress at the moment.  This is the smallest and oldest ship in the fleet.  It has an older type of Voom internet compared to Allure.
Despite that I'm able to stream the football game I want to see today.  The game being shown on the ship isn't my team.
 
On Allure this was crystal clear.  Here on Empress it's a little pixelated but it works.  I'm streaming from my Slingbox at home on my phone hooked up to the cabin TV.
This was never possible on any Carnival ship I sailed (10 total).  
I've been taking phone calls today as well over Royal Voom internet.    
Satellite internet is never perfect 100% of the time but Royal internet works so much better even here on Empress the oldest ship in the fleet.

We have added people before thru the cruise planner as well, one thing to check, when you get your sea pass card, check and make sure the table numbers match as well, if not as was said go to main dining room. Enjoy the cruise, your getting very close to,departure.

Forgot to mention, another advantage to linking the reservations is it makes it easier to book specialty dining together as well if you're so inclined.  Have a great cruise!

On cruise planner, you can link your reservations so that you can make your dining reservations together!  That's probably the easiest way, but if you stop down to Main Dining Room the first day, I'm sure they'd be able to accommodate you, especially if you happen to have My Time Dining.

We don't get to choose. It could have been any ship, any cruise line. I feel very lucky to have been offered a Royal Caribbean ship. Working for Royal has changed my life!
