Good call flow rider. So sick of MSM bagging on cruising. Such ignorance and elitism. 

We just have to get thru this omicron wave and then it’s business as usual. Some rough sailing in terms of case counts over the next 4-6 weeks but will come out the other side in much better shape from a population immunity standpoint. I feel for those that have cruises during this time. Just bad luck.

I am pretty consistent at 6 - 8 days after the cruise ends.

It took ours  2 1/2 weeks to show on cruise planner.

We all know the deal about cruising in the pandemic. Any complaints are unrealistic. It infuriates me reading these articles in MSM from passengers who allege the wool was pulled over their eyes etc. the cruise industry needs all our support. 

Cruising won't pause. As stated, some revenue is better than none. 
Also let's be honest, we can't get back to "normal" until we start living life. What good does shutting things down do? We need to continue to adapt protocols so we can live life. I cruise in 11 days and nothing, but a positive test, will stop me.

We are scheduled on January 29, have had two canceled last year, if we are healthy and the ships are sailing and planes flying, we plan on being there, just got our booster shot, good luck to all of us cruisers.

I think a lot of people think they know what transparent means and actually don't. When it comes to the meaning in regard to services, RCG is right on point. @infosec123seems to not only expect transparency but a fortune reading into the future. They are telling you there might be changes in offerings because everything is up in the air. They don't have a crystal ball. Who knows how many people might test positive or cancel in those weeks? How many crew members might test positive or have to quarantine because of close contact? They can't offer 4 hours because of too many kids or too few crew, they are being transparent in not giving an exact number. That way they can manage expectation.

The numbers on ships have been anywhere from 50 -100 positive cases. If my math is correct that's around 1% of occupancy.   Someone Help me understand why shows and climbing walls and ice skating might be canceled.   Two years into this pandemic we must go on.

Bottom line right now is cruising is going be tough over the next several weeks with omicron skyrocketing the case numbers. The usual cruise experience likely will be disrupted in terms of entertainment etc as we haver already seen. Of course if increase cases are being seen among passengers it will inevitably spill over to the crew and entertainers. This is the unfortunate by product of focusing on case counts and testing especially in light of everyone aboard being vaccinated.
