Currently on Symphony of the Seas. Have 2 kids under age of 7. One of age to be vaccinated and is however hasnt cleared 2 week period after 2nd dose at time of boarding. Day 3 m @ Nassau. We booked a tour guide excursion through Royal. The tour finished with some 20 mins left and we were allowed to roam around the area with little ones. Aside from your cruise card, i highly recommend taking a pic of your DL or other forms of picture ID. Without both forms, there is some red tape to cut through before local authorities lets you walk to the ship.

Currently sailing on Symphony of the Seas. Happened to catch up on current events and see that pretty much all Royal ships have positives in some capacity. Our last cruise was pre-pandemic. To no surprise, the rules have changed for cruising but i clearly see challenges for the cruise lines to keep guests safe. The biggest being not enough staff round the clock to enforce the mask policy. By 9PM local time, all bets are off as guests begin to unmask with very little oversight by staff & security. While i certainly dont wish for a positive from anybody during this cruise (i fully understand the risks in cruising during this period, so my choice), i honestly find it hard to phathom we will return to port of Miami inscathed.
