  1. I believe Casino Royale will fix this without an issue. Assuming you did not pay for an upgrade, the only thing extra you may need to pay will be the taxes and port fees if you paid for only one and gratuities if you had prepaid those. If you paid for an upgrade then that will be added also.
  2. 108 days since the last disembarkation ??; 46 days until the next embarkation; or 67 days if it is cancelled or 21 days from the previous one if we get to go ?; or If all else fails have another in 207 days
  3. Noticed today that the Cruise Planner items for our June and July sailings dropped in price for the first time to their usual "20% off" and "Pre-Cruise Special" rates. Signs that things may be opening up. Also one of the Shore Excursions in Cozumel that was shut down has now opened up for bookings on their website. Hoping that we get to go on one or both of these. Used to sail on NCL and had some great times on them. Then the prices started to go up. Only time we go on them now is with a comp cruise from our local casino although they informed us this year they are switching to Royal?.
  4. We have been the exact opposite, received our cruise planner refunds and not our port fees / taxes and insurance. Do not think the cruise was actually cancelled in the system until after our March 22 cruise was over. It showed up in our account until the cruise was supposed to be over. Still patiently waiting.
  5. I think I am in the exception. My cruise planner purchases were all refunded within 30 days of our cancelled March 22 cruise although it was done over several weeks. But the taxes, gratuities and insurance has not been refunded as of yet.
  6. Wish I had that on our November cruise, wife has free drinks in the casino and I am on my own. Still states that all adults in the cabin have to purchase the package. Would be great if I could purchase individually.
  7. Earlier sailings have not reduced in price (June & July) but our November cruise pricing for Beverage and Shore excursions have started dropping to "normal" pricing again. Signs they think we will be opening up.
  8. There are multiple plans but we use GeoBlue for our travel insurance. Lower cost, multiple plans with low or zero deductible. Covers what Royal insurance does but up to 1,000,000 coverage. Royal gives you 25,000. It is through Blue Cross Blue Shield but you do not have to have BCBS to get the travel insurance. For our kid's family of 4 (they are over 40 and g'kids are 8 and 10) I paid $74 for full coverage and zero deductible.
  9. Had one cancelled in March right after the shutdown, rebooked to November. Have one in June hoping they do not cancel and added one in July in case they do. Things opening up starting this week and hoping by end of next month all back to normal.
  10. I am not sure why your DBP would show that high of price on Liberty. Our November cruise currently shows $51 and we have another for July that shows $55.
  11. Just got in under the wire with a June 14th cruise to the Caribbean. Am hoping we do get to go as it is our 45th wedding anniversary cruise. Did not reserve any excursions but did get a great deal on the dining package before the virus interrupted life. Still waiting for our refund for our March cruise but expect it soon.
  12. I have to agree with codyh21 on whether or not we achieve the next level at a particular date. We were supposed to achieve that lofty Diamond milestone with a combination of a cruise that was cancelled last month and one in November. Since we were cancelled last month that may or may not happen this year unless we schedule additional trips. While the perks are nice they are the least reason we go on a cruise. If changes are made to CAS or we do not receive points for a sailing we actually did not go on it will not affect us going on Royal in the future. We have cruised on the other lines and there are many reasons we choose Royal and continue to patronize their ships.
  13. Refunds for our shore excursions slowly trickled in from our March 22 cruise with the last one coming last week. Have not received any refund for the taxes or gratuities but expect those within the next week or so. With that many folks getting money back the backlog of refunds is enormous so I expect it will take a while.
  14. No points added to our total from our cancelled 3/22/2020 cruise although it was a Casino comp. cruise. So I really do not expect them to credit us anything as we were refunded all the ancillary money paid for taxes, gratuities, and shore excursions. Only money we paid and have not had refunded is the insurance.
  15. At the moment, some of the latest Casino Comp cruises are not TA friendly. When our TA called RCCL they were told that the SUN and FUN cruise offers were not giving commissions to TA's. Ended up booking directly with Club Royale but would have preferred going through our TA and giving them commission. Our June cruise set up earlier is TA friendly and am hoping we get to go to give her some commission for her hard work.
  16. The euphoric feeling of stepping off land and onto the ship and knowing I will have my phone off, deck chair warmed up each day and everything that has to do with the cruise.
  17. Did the same, JS in July and JS in November, can't wait. Still hoping our mid-June cruise happens.? If not will move to January.
  18. Contacted our travel insurance company the they refunded it quickly. Tried to move the premium to another cruise this summer but they said their policy would not allow that. Were very nice about it when I talked to them.
  19. Update, already heard back and we now have an assigned Junior Suite booked for 11/22/2020 Western Caribbean cruise courtesy of the Casino! Have sent all the information to our TA. WooHoo! Now looking to see what additional cruise we can book with the left over vacation time. Suite gratuities show $17.50 PP/PD.
  20. Got an offer a few minutes ago for a Junior Suite with $300 Casino Cash on any sailing in the Caribbean from September through December excluding Christmas/New Year and Odyssey OTS sailings. 20SUN101 Booked redemption for Thanksgiving week and waiting to see. Be a great replacement for our cancelled March 22 cruise. My company has forced vacation over Thanksgiving and I would not have to take an extra week off to cruise. Or better yet we can book an additional cruise this year with the cancelled March cruise vacation time. If they say yes to the date, will transfer to our MEI TA.
  21. RCCL in cancelling our casino booked cruise informed our TA that they would refund all money spent on taxes, port fees and excursions. They would not include the insurance in the refund even though it was paid by us. We did not initiate the cancellation so there should be no reason for them to retain it. TA stated that that may change but another slight variation on "100%" refund of items outside of cruise fare.
  22. Bummed out, they just cancelled our March 22 cruise. Understand their reasoning and the pressure they are under so I cannot get upset. Only I was really looking forward to the fewer numbers onboard and the disconnect from work. Now we have to plan for a fall cruise and the kids now want to go.
  23. I'm over 65, can I just bring a note from my mom stating I have her permission to go??
  24. Leaving out of Galveston on March 22. We will be going unless the RCCL decides they will shut down.
