New open deck above the cabins with a door that connects to the Solarium. Bridge wings still accessible, just on deck 15, instead of 14 where they used to be. 

Sorry, I should have been a little more clearer. Didn't mean to imply that this was to the level of Mariner. I am also disappointed that it is not, because I think Mariner was a very happy medium. I guess I was just glad that it wasn't to the level of Navigator, because I personally think they did just a bit too much with that refurbishment, imo.

It depends.  Mariner did not get her cabins touched.  Many thought that was a miss.  Voyager might include a cabin refresh. 
$97M isn't chump change.  While it's short of Navigator's $115M it's still a $97M makeover.
The slides look like they are right from Mariner, at least in the renderings.  The lack of skypad isn't shocking given that Mariner's skypad remains closed and Navigator didn't get one.  
Presumably a suite lounge is coming and the concierge club is going but that wasn't specifically mentioned.
It seems the discontent is about the Promenade and lack of announced changes to that area.

There is a chance she'll do Med sailings during summer 2021. Also a chance that she'll head to another homeport and Harmony will do the Med runs. If this is the case, Harmony might go into dry dock after the season (like Oasis) or before the season (like Allure). And for what it's worth, I don't view a ship that will be only 5 years old ship as "tired."

Harmony is not even 3 years old (only Spectrum and Symphony are newer and Ovation also launched in 2016 w/ Harmony). Oasis and Allure are going in because they will be 10 years old when they are Amped (in 2019 & 2020 respectively). Unlike Oasis and Allure, Harmony already has all modern decor, water and dry slides, WOW bands, bionic bar, escape room, some of the newer specialty restaurants, etc. It's still a baby in the fleet ?! I guess it will have the usual routine maintenance dry dock in a couple of years (maybe a coat of paint, a new restaurant), but I would assume it won't need any major upgrades like Oasis and Allure for at least another 5-8 years. We just booked Harmony for APR 2021!

Odyssey is a Quantum Ultra Class ship due out in fall 2020.  

Plenty of time for them to do something between now and then - I remember the old Bayonne terminal pre-Quantum which was certainly not fit for that class and they managed to update the port enough to take them.
Maybe she'll do Friday and Saturday departures?

Truth is there are people in the world that it could literally kill them to be breathing in 2nd hand smoke.  They are not snowflakes for not risking their life.  I hope you realize how offensive your comment was and think a little more next time before typing such garbage.

Navigator was a fine ship before and an even better ship after.  I sailed her weeks before she went in and right after she finished.  The pool deck is a whole new look.  Playmakers, Hooked, To Dry For, Starbucks, slides, etc. are all new venues but she is still Navigator right to the core. 
If Royal attempted to come out with a new name for her I'd suggest it was sleazy marketing gimmick trying to pass her off as a brand new ship built in 2019 to confuse new cruisers.
Same with Mariner but not as eye popping a transformation.  
Changing names causes a lot of confusion and costs a lot of money that would be wasteful.  You change a name of ship when you want to obscure it's past.  For example, when acquired by a new company - sure change the name.    In case of Carnival they want to obscure the past and trick people into thinking it's a new ship.

No reason to have two Perfect Day Islands so close to each other. 
No reason to be a homeport either. 
This purchase doesn't make sense to me at all, especially with the recent CocoCay enhancements. 

Yes, Freedom's Amplified dry dock is from January 19 to March 1, 2020. 

That will be Explorer's second season doing those itineraries, and she will have been amplified by that time. 
Vision is a bit of a downgrade from Serenade though, no getting around that. 
Interesting to see Adventure heading to Galveston. 
Seems pretty safe to say that Odyssey will be taking over the 6/8 night itineraries from Fort Lauderdale.

I would like the 4 night itinerary that went to just Labadee.
When we did the Mariner on December, we only got off at CocoCay anyway.  
I'm also missing Key West on the 4 nighters. The problem is that Voyager Class are just a bit too large to sail there, and now Navigator and Mariner have taken over the short Bahamas cruises.
