Dinner Night 1 was in none other than CK. Sad to report that while dinner was good, Symphony a few months ago was much better. The Chicken Noodle soup was had by all and we all came to the same conclusion.

Costal Kitchen has such nice views and it's a quiet relaxing venue. My favorite.

We’ve always just showed up for breakfast and lunch and never had a problem getting a table. I did notice that our last cruise, we were Star and our genie made lunch reservations on sea days so it might be a good idea to reserve sea day lunches. Always make reservations for dinner. Just let the concierge know days/times you’d like to reserve when they reach out. They will make the reservations for you.

Funny I have never thought about vacating my room so the steward could clean.  If someone (read my daughter 😁) is sleeping in, we put the sleeping off the fun sign on the door.  If we see the steward we’ll tell him not to bother.  If we miss a cleaning because of it, not a big deal.  I can survive one day without.  I just don’t get the outrage over this.  If you need more towels, call GS and I bet they’ll send some!  

I tried the app and the website, but no entertainment yet its only showing shore excursions, dining, internet, etc.. No shows. This was 1:15 CST

Furniture delivery and even our accountant also have requested. I've seen it also requested in smaller retail stores as well. It's out of control. 

I really have to put some effort into opening the unlocked balcony door.  They do not slide easily, in my experience.

I'd order a lobster and then sell my lobster  to my table mate or the next table for half the price that Royal is charging (cash only) . I don't eat lobster, so it works out well.

I just wish they did a non-alcoholic version of this. I know we could do it anyway and we wouldn't go thirsty but I would be looking to pay a cheaper rate for it without alcohol included.

We have a 7 night this summer on Carnival panorama out out LA for a  western Mexican cruise. We would go royal but most are shorter out of LA . Also both our kids wanted to try a different line for something different. We did carnival years ago, it was ok, but nothing special. A lot of drinking and partying, not us.

Here is my summary post!This was the first week of the NEW Menus on Adventure of the Seas.
In the MDR three things were consistently good.
Caesar salad was better than most restaurants on land. Really great lettuce and dressing.
The little steaks are quite tender and tasty.
The standout dinners I had were both Indian food. Lamb on french night and chicken on bon voyage night. I think the Indian entrees were the way to go and would have done it all 4 nights.
The warm cookie with ice cream and the cheesecake were also delicious.
Everything else was a very mixed bag. My husband had a few weak entrees. Spaghetti, fish on the first night, lamb on bon voyage all a big letdown.
Tomato soup was good. Crab cake was AWFUL. A few things had tasty and bad elements in the same dish. Greek tapas plate (good humus bad pita) and corn cakes (savory salsa) come to mind.
In the Windjammer the indian curried porridge at breakfast was great, and the coconut cookies. Key lime in a cup was nice. Breadsticks GREAT!  Mac and cheese good.
All other pastry desserts in both venues were basically flavorless. I was surprised. They looked pretty and tasted like bland wedding cake.
Big suggestion: INDIAN NIGHT in MDR. Across the board, overall the indian food was a strong suit, and a pleasant suprise and others felt the same way.
Breakfast: my one MDR breakfast was great. Normal American stuff.  Room service continental breakfast was pretty good one day and really a letdown on the other.
We enjoyed our 1 MDR lunch and wish we had done that more but we liked eating at 2pm with dinner at 8.
I hope this is helpful to someone--- we were asked over and over how we liked our food but to be honest it was a formality.
We had a great time, but marveled at how amazingly inconsistent the food was!

Last dinner—- crazy mixed bag…. Bon Voyage 
The hummus was very nice but the med tapas plate was random. 
I really liked the Indian chicken dish, The lamb was disgusting . 
Catalan crème too sweet. 
I will do a wrap up post.

After reading the one long paragraph 🕵️‍I'm taking it that OG poster is looking for some kind of refund or Fcc due to the fact she had an argument with her ex best friend before even boarding and it ruined her cruise!
