This. I told the crew back home just text me if there is an emergency and I can respond accordingly. If I had to check in, even 3 texts a day is far less than Ann internet package.

Its on our to do list.  We feel doing the back to back gives you the best of both countries and beats flying over there twice.  30 days is a lot of cruising but both countries are spectacular. Go for it. Will be looking into booking it on our cruise in Sept. on Anthem.

We did a 15 day from Los Angeles to Tampa. If you do one, do the entire route. Some itineraries go half way and then turn back. It was terrific. We lucked out and had port side a balcony, which happened to be the side that allowed us the best view of the locks. Also, do some reading. There is a fascinating book, that is well worth the time.

    This.
It never ends well, never mind the fact no guest is in a position to tell other guests what to do.

Confirmed.  Painkillers... the rum based drink.  After a few the SPR assailant will be in the pool joining in the festivities.

I agree with @twangster I have seen the adults miss behave (Later in the day after many, many drinks) more than I have the older teens.
Just got off the Anthem GC, and they had to close and pump out the main pool twice during the nine days because an adult had thrown up in the pool.

"No privilege" is mostly used for children so they can't purchase things on their own.  (This avoids things like $200/day at the arcade, 15 sodas a day at $4 each , etc).  Their SeaPass card is then only an ID and a door key.

    Hi there
We hold a lot of group space and have a consortium we work with that has some too we can access
Its not every date - but its something your agent can easily look for if needed for you.
Nice thing is group rates (for 2 guests only) are always refundable deposits

Funny you say this. Every other podcast I listen to, I have to turn the speed up to 1.1x in Overcast or it sounds too slow. Not RCBlog podcast! I had to put him back at 1x or it was too hard to follow! ?

Excursion also follow supply and demand practices.
The last time excursions went on sale I grabbed a dozen or so across a handful of cruises.  Many of those were booked at rock bottom prices.  They went back up in price after that sale until this sale came along.  In some cases maybe I was the only person who had booked excursions in New Zealand 7 months from now.  Some came down in price and I saved even more.  in other cases it's possible other guests also jumped in during the last sale.  If an excursion is half booked they aren't going to deeply discount it this far out.  It went on sale just not as deeply discounted as it was when I booked.
I keep a spreadsheet with my excursions listed and I check them frequently which is how I found this sale.  I have a total of 19 excursions booked right now and saved over $120 from this sale.  However not all of my excursion dropped below the price I previously paid.
I don't see this "new math" but simply as supply and demand.

Keep in mind that these sales often roll in slowly so check back tomorrow if you aren't seeing any deals today.  You never know.

OK, I know I made the most recent posting on this thread, and I certainly wasn't thinking about the family when I wrote it last night.  I don't regret anything snarky I say about the attorney, but I just got a huge reminder about what this family is going through.  The family is from a town literally 10 minutes south of where I live (I've known that since the event happened), but I just read the obituary.  The memorial service took place this afternoon with visitation until this evening.  Apparently Chloe was a preemie, given her low birth weight and early medical scares, which I can relate to as the mother of 32-week preemie who, thank God, is now a healthy 16-year old.  For her to die the way she did, in such happy circumstances (family vacation) after overcoming problems at birth just takes my breath away.

I second (or third!) the comments on how I was skeptical at first, but now swear by them!  I also use them to store my electronics chargers together (one of the smaller bags); when I'm traveling, and not using the chargers, they stay in the bag.  When it's time to unpack my suitcase, I find that just pulling out the cubes and putting them in the drawers is very satisfying -- pull out the cubes, put them in the dresser drawers, hang up clothes, put toilette items in the bathroom -- done!

Someone mentioned that this attorney has specialized in litigating against cruise lines. My guess is that he jumped on the case and approached the family, convinced them that they were entitled to damages, and offered to represent them. They are so stunned and in such grief that they acquiesced, not knowing what the lawyer would say to the press. Of course his story is nonsense, the cruise line is not responsible for what was poor judgement and an unfortunate accident. All of us who have children can recall a time or two when the child ALMOST had an accident, or had an accident that could have turned out worse than it did . . . . and sometimes the worst happens. We've seen relatives toss the baby into the air and heard their heads bump the ceiling. Parents have accidentally backed the car over their own children, but haven't gone looking for someone to sue, and no one thought for a minute that it was anything other than a tragic accident. In this case, the grandfather's vision may be failing and he thought there was a closed window. Or maybe he thought there was enough distance between the rail and the open window.  Should they be suing his ophthalmologist, then? I don't think so. We just need to support them in their time of grief.

Seeing some price drops on the UDP (dining) and some excursions are cheaper (although some went up).  Minor changes on some DX and refreshment packages but inconsistent across different cruises.
Overall saved over a hundred on excursions across a number of sailings.  Some were $8 cheaper, some $40 cheaper.
Cruise planner access is cranky for me, sometimes taking a few attempts to get in.
