I know people are calling them like crazy, I called yesterday about a question on a May cruise, finally gave up, was on hold 20 minutes before I gave up, not sure if people were booking or canceling, but they are busy at call center.

The cruise industry is always a target. Any ship that deals with a noro outbreak is instantly in the news. The reality is that you do have thousands of people in close proximity who are constantly interacting with each other. Any communicable disease is going to spread easier. We all know that the crew is constantly reminding people to sanitize, but not everyone heeds the warnings.
It is what it is. If it slows down the popularity of cruising, it may lead to lower prices.
It may have already, we cruise the end of May and went to pay off and cruise , went down around 400 dollars for me and my wife, I was glad I hadn't made final payment yet.

I always pick up,a cigar for a co worker, I actually buy one on the ship, they have a nice variety and can assist in your choice and the prices are decent. One hint, buy a cigar with a tin cover so,it,will be protected during travel.

Great blog, enjoyed reading it , thank you.

We have been going to a cvs or someplace and buy a can of Lysol the last few cruises, usually pass around to our other cruise friends and just leave it in the room when we leave.

Have a awesome trip, thanks for sharing.

The Anthem GC to Norway will be our first D+ cruise. It took us 25 years to get to this level and now we don't have the CL to look forward to. Bummer!
I tend to,agree with you, we just got back from the Vision out,of San Juan and the D+ and Diamond lounge was so small, we only tried one night to get in. We just used our drinks at dinner.

I believe you can cancel, not 100 per cent sure, we never have but I would ask at excursion desk be make sure.

Just got off of,theVision of the seas, service was outstanding and we had no complaints about the food at all, steaks were tender and Lobster night was awesome with some prime rib. I don't think you have quite the selection as years ago, but we was at a table of seven and everyone enjoyed their dinning experience.

Plenty of time unless there is some problem at port, I have had flights earlier than that.

Our decision is usually based on if we need off the ship early or want to hang around to kill time. If,we,are in a rush, we fight the crowded elevators and the lines getting off the ship and carry our bags, if we are killing time, we leave our bags out the night before, usually by 11 or 12 and just walk off with just carry on, this is much less hectic for sure. When you get to,the terminal to leave they will be at the number on the wall to match the bag tag numbers they left you to,put on your bags.

The flight we are taking on the 24th runs Detroit>Orlando>San Juan daily. Out of curiosity, I checked yesterday's flight on flight tracker. It was running about 6 minutes late, but, in route to PR as usual.
That's good news, I think we are on the same cruise, we fly out of cvg, that's the Cincinnati airport that's in Ky, to Atl to San Juan also arriving on the 24 th. Hope to see you on the Vision.

We are cruising out of,San Juan the end of January , I called our motel yesterday, which is in the the lagoon area, about two blocks from the ocean, they said everything around them is fine. You have to feel for,the folks in San Juan with all the major weather issues the last few years.

They will give you a meeting spot and time, someone will have a sign with your, excursion name on it, you will follow them to your transportation.

It seems like a good, time to buy some stock in some of the cruise lines, ride it out, cruising is a hot industry and things will pass. With that being said, Royal has spent so much on being bigger and better and taken small things away from the customer . Cruising 20 years ago was just simpler and better in my opinion.
