  1. On RoyalUp? Good luck! I hope it works out for you! I'll be interesting to see if I get a RoyalUp option for my October Allure sailing.
  2. I just did a mock booking to see and had no problems. Actually, I did have a problem. I mock booked an AquaTheatre Suite on Symphony, and now I WANT IT TO BE REAL!!!!!
  3. We'll agree to disagree. The Key prices (at least on all of my sailings) are higher than I'd ever pay for it (I won't pay over $20pp), which negate the Voom advantage. I hope it works out for ya!
  4. Call your travel agent? (Yep, just one more reason to have a good TA).
  5. That's a pretty high price to pay for a good boarding time.
  6. Although I like The Key program, I wouldn't even bother with it again until everything is back to normal. If I had purchased it, I'd cancel it. With reduced passenger numbers on board I don't see any part of it that would be worth the money. If you check in as soon as it opens up you will likely get one of the earliest boarding times available anyway. There will really be no need for dedicated seating in the venues for a while with limited capacity.
  7. My Oct 24 Allure sailing visits both Labadee and Coco Cay (so far). Fingers crossed.
  8. I'd recommend booking through a great travel agent (or transferring your booking to one soon after booking). Their service is just priceless when challenges arise (and even when things go smoothly. If you don't feel like your travel agent is one of your best friends, I think you need a different travel agent!).
  9. I love nothing more than when great threads evolve (devolve?) into good-natured humor.
  10. I'll be on Serenade in May 2022 in a Junior Suite, also under the Windjammer, lol. I stayed directly under the Windjammer on Navigator once and never heard a noise from it.
  11. I'm impressed. I don't even know 19 people, much less have 19 family members, lol.
  12. Spoken by someone who isn't a first responder ? I know it was meant in jest, but seriously...no.
  13. Will an Uber or Lyft do such short trips (like from the Holiday Inn or Country Inn & Suites) to the Port?
  14. :::::: slowly opens a drawer a quarter inch and walks away ::::::
  15. According to Matt's article, it says "The CDC does make allowances for guests to remove their masks in venues and events dedicated to fully vaccinated parties.". That seems pretty clear to me that it means maskless in those venues. And it seems like there are an abundance of vaccinated only venues. Unless I'm missing something.
  16. Hopefully it's not the deep nasal swab testing. According to Sheri (CruiseTipsTV - who sailed on Adventure last week), her 11-year-old son had 4 or 5 covid tests prior to/during their sailing and none of them were the deep nasal swabs, so that bodes well, hopefully.
  17. I booked Jr Suites over the next year for the double points. It was worth it to me.
  18. @WAAAYTOOOis on Allure for 2 weeks, then I'm on for a week, then you get on for a week. We did NOT coordinate this very well, ladies!!!
  19. I'm so glad that it's going to work out for you, and I think your perspective will be very valuable! Yay!!
  20. Plus, the way i look at it, I can book with a TA and that person gets paid by Royal, or Royal keeps it all. I like Royal and all, but I'd rather have a small businessperson benefit a bit from my bookings, plus I benefit as well.
  21. Until they got the emergency bells tonight and they all had to report to their muster stations! Luckily it was a false alarm, but it sounded scary, from what people described! (Happened while they were in the pub (singing "Alice", of course).
  22. I really hate these exaggerated, clickbait YouTube titles.. It's why I stopped following a bunch of them that write them that way all of the time (I won't name names).
