Yeah..there was no way to politely escape..we were almost in the middle of it.

The benefit of being a shareholder is the gain on your investment when the stock price increases in value.  The company performing well and turning a profit is how they answer to shareholders.

Yes...of course in Royal fashion it's still as confusing as ever.  They throw us a bone with the confirmation of Playmakers, but while they had been saying hibachi was covered in the Unlimited plan, this new message doesn't mention it.  It was never covered in the prior Ultimate plan, but sometimes the restaurant would allow it.  But it's always been an ask onboard thing.
But if they consider the hibachi a "dinging experience" or a "Culinary Experience" then you would get the 20% discount on it when you book it onboard as the latest letter states. I'd imagine the other other Culinary Experiences such as the guacamole, sushi, and cupcake classes are also 20% off..but only when you book them onboard.

Amen...$35 at Playmakers goes a looooooong way.
If all the a la carte stuff really is included and you can visit multiple restaurants, the Ultimate gives me my favorite part of the Star Class experience.  I like being able to pick and choose single items rather than have a long fully involved meal.  And if I can sell them on giving it to me to go so I don't take up a seat in the restaurant, even better deal for me.

Understandable...I will be making reservations when I get on board, so that will help.  Also being solo and asking if they would be willing to make something and put a cover on it and give it to me to take to my room might work too..who knows. That way I'm not taking up an entire table for a single person. 
Windjammer is usually my go to but I like the idea of being able to sample all of the offerings.  I just can't do the 3 course meals..entirely too long for me to be sitting with food and way, way, way too much food to eat. I don't need the atmosphere of the dining experience..just the food.  
Even so..if I have to sit at a table at Giovannis for my meat platter at my scheduled reservation time, I am fine with that.  My table will be turned over quickly and perhaps they can sneak another walk-up party in right after me.

Kids Sail Free is a great way to cut the price and if you aren't against pulling the older one out of school for the trip you will find prices can be very reasonable during the off season.  This also makes the cost of airfare more reasonable.

You get the 20% discount when you book onboard.  I would assume that the 20% is taken off the bill..so you're getting 20% off the onboard price..it may or may not have been cheaper in the cruise planner.  However, I was under the assumption that the hibachi was covered and reports back on CC are confirming that it is..so you wouldn't have to pay at all.

Agree with @Jaymac Radio.  They probably already have another ship scheduled for Coco Cay that day.   I would like to think that they won't double book ships at Coco Cay when one of the ships are an Oasis class, but you never know.

Looks like they had so many questions on it they wanted to get it in writing somewhere.   
They haven't updated the blurb on the cruise planner..it still says it's only lunch on sea days..but the T&C at the bottom of the dining page say it's for anytime the restaurant is open as does this email.  So Ultimate diners should be able to hit up anything open on embarkation day for lunch as well.

I disagree - this forum is nothing like CC.  This sort of exchange, while common over there, is extremely rare here. If this is the only thread you're reading, then I can understand how you might think that, but if you spend any time perusing the forum you'll find that this is an extremely supportive place to be!  I hope you are able to take some time and discover some of the great people and information to be found here.  ?

I tried to use one at Wendy's and they called the cops because they believed it to be counterfeit.. lol.. A 17 year old kid never saw a 2 dollar bill lol 

If for some reason only one adult wants the deluxe drink package, make sure to book one adult in each room to avoid buying two deluxe drink packages.  Another bonus of having two rooms there.

The Pub was my favorite place on Anthem too...and spent a lot of time at the ones on Mariner and Symphony too come to think of it.

Royal's rule is one package per stateroom with the exception being for minor children booked into another cabin.
