Yaaaaay! There’s already a decent number of us on Oasis that week. I’ve taken to calling it the Unofficial satellite group cruise lol. If you look on FB there’s a group for our sailing already started by @FloatMe

Biggest mistake wasn't in my first cruises though, it was with my first cruise with kids. We knew what cruising was for us and we took those expectations into our first cruise with our very young kids. We love cruising with the kids now, but the first one we didn't enjoy because we didn't get our minds right that the experience is different with kids.

A good thing to pay off at this stage is the pre-paid gratuities! You can do it through your travel agent, or directly with royal if you didn't book with an agent.

Im doing 4 (wife and I, 8 year old son and 4 year old son) in an interior room, over Spring Break. I asked this same question, and the common response was "it will be cramped". One of @Matt 's "do not do this" things is booking 4 in one smaller room vs. booking two rooms or a bigger room. That being said, I did it anyway based on my experience with cruising, my experience with my family dynamic, and our budget. Who knows, I may end up regretting it and agreeing with Matt. But it was either book this room and actually DO THINGS on the cruise, or book 2 rooms and be restricted in spending. Bottom line opinion: YOU know what your family is like, and if it will probably be ok or not. if its the difference between cruising, or not......YOLO BOOK IT!   

Aaaahhhh!! I’m so excited, but it’s sooooo far away! I talked with Stephanie from MEI today and decided to go for it. We will sail June 2021. Thanks so much for all the advice you all have given. Especially the part about getting a TA! I can’t imagine trying to figure this all out on my own. 
Now I need advice on how to pass the time until June 2021?!? Lol!

Be friendly with all the crew. Ask them where they like to go in port, they often know some great spots that are off the radar
