Bakerette got a reaction from raahc in prices for future cruses
Yesterday I checked the price of my cruise in April on Harmony for a Boardwalk balcony room for 2 people & the price was $2005.40, meal @ Johnny Rockets, Rock climbing lesson & soda package & $325 OBC which I got when I selected to keep the perks that originally came with the boardwalk balcony room when I booked the room 2 years ago. NOW THE PRICE OF THE SAME BALCONY ROOM IS $392 CHEAPER, SO THE PRICE OF THE EXACT SAME CRUISE & ROOM IS NOW $1,613.80. BUT if I call & ask for a price change I will loose my obc, meal @ Johnny Rockets, Rick climbing lesson, & soda package & $325 obc which means I will be loosing a value of $450 because the soda package is $62.93x2=$125.86 +$325=$450.86

This is not accurate.  COVID-19 is present in many countries outside of the Asia region including those in North America and many in Europe.
The US has 69 cases and has seen one death from COVID-19.  Canada has 20 cases of COVID-19.  Mexico has 10 cases of COVID-19.

The corona virus is in Asia & only affects the residents of the Asian countries & the cruise ships in the Asian Market. The corona virus is not in any other country/continent besides Asia.

Bakerette got a reaction from Baked Alaska in (Very very...) last minute reservation
In your original post you did not say that you did not make a personal reservation or that it was a chartered cruise. You said that you were cruising with a group of people And not a chartered cruise, so I assumed that you had made a personal reservation and was part of a group cruise not a chartered cruise.

A group cruise is where you make a reservation to be part of a group cruise such as the RoyalCaribbeanBlog group Cruises. A chartered cruises is when a company buys out the entire ship and the entertainment options is whatever the company who brought out the cruise ship for the sailing wants the entertainment options to be offered durning the cruise.

in your initial post you said that you will be dining with a group of people and now you are saying that you are going on a chartered cruise, so which is it: did you make a persona reservation for the ship and sail date or are you going on a chartered cruise or are you part of a group cruise that is not a chartered cruise?

Bakerette got a reaction from CruisingKitty in Itinerary - Which do I believe?
2 weeks after your sailing I am going on the same ship and to the same ports as you. So far I have been on about 5 Royal Caribbean cruises and the Royal Caribbean website has showed the correct ports of call that the ships will be docked at and what order they will visit different countries. I always trust that the Royal Caribbean website is correct and you SHOULD TRUST ROYAL CARIBBEAN and If I were you I definitely WOULD NOT TRUST CRUISETIMESTABLE.com, because to me that website seems to have wrong information.

Yes, Harmony does support the wow bands and you can purchase them once onboard. Then you, your wife, & kids can split up and charge things to their Seapass account.

Bakerette got a reaction from Tom Cruises in Repricing Shore Excursion w/ OBC involved
I had purchased 3 excursions, dining package and an internet package using mostly OBC and less than $100 from my debit card and several months later I had cancelled the internet and dining packages and 2 out of the 3 excursions and I had gotten the OBC back instantly but the money that was going back to my debit card took several days.
I even repriced 1 excursion because the price was cheaper then when I had originally purchased the excursion which I had purchased using OBC. I had received the difference of what I had paid back as OBC back instantly.

Bakerette got a reaction from WAAAYTOOO in First cruise! A few questions.
The dress code on RC ships is somewhat enforced because on formal nights because sleeveless tops (expect for sleeveless dresses) are not allowed to be worn in the MDR (main dining room). Shorts are also not suppose to be worn in the MDR but how can that be when my mom and I have worn shorts most nights (expect for the formal nights) in the MDR. Skirts are allowed to be in the MDR.

Most drinks can be ordered at bars (free drinks that are included in the cruise fare, and drinks that you have to pay for no matter if you purchases a beverage package or is going to pay for the by the drink rather then buy a beverage package.

I have been on Oasis in December 2018 & Harmony in April 2019. Oasis, Harmony, Allure and Symphony all all sister ships sister ships when I was on Oasis and Harmony  i did not think that they were crowded at all. There is sooooo many things to do on the Oasis Class ships that I don’t think you will even see all of the guest that are onboard your sailing expect for on embarkation/disembarkation day & when dining in the main dining room (MDR).
Also you might see a lot of guest of you when getting off the ship @ the different ports of call & not only will you see other guest that are on the same ship as you, but also you will see a long line of people that are on different ships that are also @ the same ports of call when your going thru security to get back on the ship @ the ports of call.

    That should be ok.

I would suggest that you invest in a passport because for adults they are valid for 10 years & for children they are valid for 5 years. They are a good investment if you are going to do a lot of international travel. You will be able to get back into your home country easier with a passport then with a BC & government issued ID if you have to Fly back home before the cruise is over. If you had to fly home before the cruise is over and all you had was your government issued ID & BC you would have to go to the Consulate/Embassy office of the country that you are a resident of so that you could get a passport issued that day just so you could leave the cruise early to fly home.

Before your first sailing you are in the pre-gold C&A status. After you complete your first cruise the C&A status will move to gold within a couple weeks after the sailing ends.
