  1. They are hoping you have vacation dust in your eyes. Their used Rolex prices are insane!!!
  2. Yep. During the late 80's they would screw the sliding glass doors closed during spring break.
  3. We did the dolphin swim in Roatan last year and it was a lot of fun.
  4. We bring one like this. Plus a small extension cord. It is around 10 inches. So, one less pair a shoes. ?
  5. We brought one last year and had no issues. We take one with us when ever we travel. It really helps block out the other noises (doors closing, A/C cycling on and off, people in the halls)
  6. We did it last year and it was worth it to us. We rarely take couples pictures. It did get old stopping at all the backdrops just before dinner every night. I think there were 4-6 each night.
  7. Saw this on the new last night. Not good. https://www.khou.com/article/news/nation-now/state-department-orders-travel-advisory-for-mexico-after-8-bodies-found-in-cancun/465-d59d56ab-d741-47b5-9f8e-0c985b22f350
  8. They will ask for you sea pass card or your room number where you stop for pictures or they stop you. Then you can go to the photo shop and view them. The last night you can pick up a flash drive with all your pictures on it. We enjoy doing it because we rarely take couples pictures.
  9. You will be fine. Yes there will be a lot of people from the Great state of Texas but that is what will make it fun. Yes we have grass and trees here too. Even schools.....
  10. That is awesome news. I will defiantly check out MEI when we go to book our next cruise.
  11. Wow I am just shocked the way this has turned out. What seemed to be a very simple solution goes up in smoke. Shocked.....
  12. Wow that is crazy. Hope it works out for you. A quick google search turned up this article. https://www.cruisecritic.com/articles.cfm?ID=340
  13. Galveston did not have the customs form when we cruised September of 2017. As a suite guest we were walked to the front of the line. It was nice. A lot of angry stares though.
  14. I don't think she needs to go all through that unless it is a very very expensive piece.
  15. We did Rose Hall several years ago. It was OK. It was our first time to Jamaica and it was a little depressing. If we were to ever go again. I think we would just stay in the port area and then hang out on the ship.
  16. I was on the LOS back in September and yes they still had the 70's party and yes the Connoisseur was still pumping out cigar smoke. You might check again when you are only a few months out.
  17. My wife an I both made it to the finals on a slot tournament but neither of us won the free cruise.
  18. We did a dolphin swim at Anthony's Key. It was a lot of fun. https://anthonyskey.com/
  19. We sailed the week after Hurricane Harvey gave us 53 inches of rain. Water came up our driveway (we live a few hundred yard from Clear Creek) but not in the house thank God. RRC didn't notify us the we could even cancel (no idea what they would offer us) until a few day before the cruise. We didn't have any damage so we went. They said the ship was about half full. The center of the street is holding about 3 feet of water.
  20. Search youtube for hotel safe. You will be shocked. I still use it. Better then hiding in a drawer somewhere, I guess.
  21. We bring our passport cards ashore. Not sure if they country we are visiting will accept them or not but I figure better than nothing. Plus they are a lot more water resistant than our passports.
