  1. Precisely. There is little risk in buying the drink package now and if the price drops, you can always cancel and rebook.
  2. Liberty is newer. As to which is better, "better" is a subjective term. Liberty certainly has some features that Jewel does not (water slides, mini golf, Royal Promenade instead of a Centrum, etc). Some might argue the Jewel makes up for in intimacy and connection to the ocean what she lacks in whiz bang features.
  3. In my experience, the specials the spa runs on the ship are different combo offers, rather than say 30% off a specific treatment.
  4. If you are asking what drinks are available outside of cocktail hour, it's really just the self-serve coffee machine and some juices/milk at breakfast. During the cocktail hours, it's essentially same drink menu as the Diamond Lounge has
  5. Caught your Periscope earlier as you sailed away and looks like you're off to a great start. I can't wait to check out Playmakers.
  6. Yes, it will cover any specialty coffee that has an extra charge. Frappuchino, macchiato, lattee, etc.
  7. Wow that is great news!
  8. Nope. Other than the self-serve espresso machine, you wont have any other option outside of breakfast or happy hour.
  9. Voyager Class is a great choice. Mariner and Adventure just got refurbished and Navigator is a favorite of mine (with another refurb for her next year).
  10. Best strategy is to book whatever price you see as cheapest, and then cancel and rebook if/when there is a price drop. There's little correlation to what someone else paid versus what you will pay. I totally get you want to know what "rock bottom" is for price, but I'm concerned it will set up false expectations for yourself.
  11. Very interesting. It's entirely possible they thought the pier would be ready and thus, two ships could dock there. The time frame for the pier being ready was (at last word) November, so the "construction delay" may not be that much of a farce if indeed the pier cannot support 2 ships yet. It may also be related to the fact construction is limiting the available space and/or certain venues will not be available yet.
  12. RC technically has a program in that place, but I've rarely seen it enforced.
  13. In Fort Lauderdale, spend an evening walking down Los Olas Blvd. Great spot there. South Beach in Miami never disappoints.
  14. Welcome Jill!
  15. Looking forward to following along!
  16. The data is from 2011 and 2012. A lot has changed (namely the introduction of the Price Integrity Policy) but it's still interesting read.
  17. You cannot bribe your will to a GC....but it can't hurt!
  18. No, it's something that was shared with me that I'm not allowed to share. Just for reference so I can get blog posts together and whatnot.
  19. I only have 3 out of 5, but here they are: https://issuu.com/hochmania/docs/images.compressed_6b7a7ae34d19db?e=2025714/63092239
  20. If the shows on Radiance and Vision class ships are any indication, the shows will be the same in two years.
  21. I'm surprised this loophole has lasted as long as it has.
  22. I'd lean towards Adventure simply since she was most recently refurbished of the three.
  23. Welcome to our message boards, Larry!
  24. In lieu of dinner? Or in addition to dinner?
