Hi everyone, Matt was so kind to allow me to post on your message board in order to share with you a nice handy app. The app will give you insights into what other cruise ship will be in port with you when you are there. You can look up your cruise, see your itinerary and see which other ships will be there. The app is called CruiseLegend and is available in the app stores for free. Please search for CruiseLegend and you will find it.

The app also features port information and just this weekend we have launched a news section. For some sample screenshots, please check out the attached images.

I hope you will enjoy using the app. If you like, drop me a line and let me know what you think.

Best wishes, Peter

Ease of use and simplicity. It's everyone's own choice which source to use to acquire this information. I hope that the CruiseLegend will stand out and become a useful tool for more cruisers out there. If you like it or not, that's up to you.

But i see the benefit and the app is easy to use tnx a lot for sharing

Just got back from Nassau where there were six ships tucked in nicely at the pier. The terminal had no problems accommodating the crowds, and shops were not crowded downtown in the AM. So each port will be a little different. I can't see worrying about the number of ships, but it is important to consider total tourist load. Even shoulder season in Europe can be overcrowded.

yh overcrowded was an understatement we had an excursion to one o the islands at naples and could barely get back in time cause all ferries were booked out.
we actualy booked a private charter with 16 people from the ship to be sure to get back on board in time...
And on  the island it was also overcrowded, a real bad experience....

But tnx for sharing, glad to hear that it might not be as bad as my first reaction on seeing 6 ships at the same time..

You shouldn't be concerned about overcrowding in Nassau. It is typical for them to have 5-6 ships in port. Keep in mind that Nassau is the port that probably sees the smallest percentage of guests go ashore. Many frequent cruisers have likely been to Nassau several times and choose to stay on the ship. Whereas, the majority of cruisers to Naples are going to go ashore regardless of how many times they've been there as there are so many different experiences in the Naples area such as downtown Naples, Pompeii, Amalfi Coast, Sorrento, Capri, etc.

Just installed it. Seems easy enough to use. Saw information from our upcoming cruise. Thank you!

Will you be seeing lots of other ships in port? Do you find it useful to know beforehand?

Did you manage to check out the app and to see for yourself what makes the app unique? I sincerely hope you like it.
