We have eaten at Chops 6 times.  Overall, we like the restaurant.  Not the best steaks or overall food we have had on a cruise ship, but solid and more than satisfying.

We will be on our first ever Oasis Class ship and first time in a Sky Class Suite.  Coastal Kitchen menu looks really good!

Soooo....if I get a 3 night Dining Package, which restaurant between Chops and CP150 should I choose?  I have already chosen Hooked and Jamies and now need to choose between Chops and CP150.  All opinions welcome!

Can't help you with your exact question but, fwiw, CK always has filet on night one and it is very good.

Just mentioning that in case doubling up on steak would impact your decision.

I saw the menu for CK and we will be eating there a lot.  I am not sure that steak is the make or break deciding point but I am glad to know CK has that option at least for one night! Thanks!

You don't mention which Oasis ship you're sailing, so I can only vouch for 150 Central Park on Wonder.....

The answer is a resounding YES!! Part of a package or just a standalone reservation,  YES!!!!

😍😍😍

CP150 that good? Okay! I am leaning that way now! Thank you!

150 CP is definitely the most upscale of your choices but the menu is a bit “exotic” for my tastes.  Many people rave about the tenderloin but we have yet to get a good, tender piece of beef when we’ve ordered it and have been disappointed every time we’ve tried it.  If you like duck, venison, lamb then you would probably enjoy 150.  The lobster thermador (sp ??) was good, not great.  This restaurant definitely has the best presentation.

The CK is a mixed bag.  I agree with @OCSC Mike that the filet on night #1 is very good.  …but for us, some of the other menus are very average. I often struggle to find anything that appeals to me.  Definitely skip the cauliflower steak.  🥴.  The best part of dining at the CK is the ambiance, not the food (IMO).  If this is your first opportunity to eat in the CK and you may not get another chance soon, I would definitely eat there at least once.

There’s nothing particularly special about Chops so if the choice is really between Chops and 150 and you don’t mind getting dressed up (whatever that means to you), I would give 150 a shot over Chops.

Whatever you decide, enjoy !

Experiences and enjoyment of the food are subjective and can vary, but our one night at 150 CP was outstanding.  We did order the tenderloin for 2 and you literally didn't need a knife, it was that tender. Maybe it was how we requested it (medium rare), but each course served was delicious. And the rolls........oh the rolls!!!! Mrs Geezer had to roll me out of the restaurant.  🤪

We’ll throw a curve… Jamie’s twice.. Italian focused night and steak focused night.. Yum!

Never tried Jamie’s but that’s one reason we like both versions of Giovanni’s… steak & Italian in one meal. 😋

I always like CK, but it's essentially an elevated MDR IMHO.  The menus vary wildly from really good (the aforementioned Day 1 fillet is always an automatic for me!) to just meh, but even at it's best I just don't think CK is quite at the level of the specialty dining venues.  So, of Chops and 150CP, I'm 150CP all day, everyday.  As @WAAAYTOOO & @Geezer Of The Seas have both mentioned, Chops is fairly nondescript.  Good food, don't get me wrong, just very generic.  CP150 has some much more interesting dishes (my wife really liked the Lobster Thermidor and I loved the Lamb Wellington and the Roasted Tenderloin), the bread is absolutely todie for, and the fried cheesecake is just killer.  Finally, and this may sound silly, but the Garden Martini (made table side) is worth the price of admission alone.  It may not be the best drink on the ship, but my wife and I both think it's top 3 at the worst!

I largely agree with this opinion. It's significantly better than the MDR, IMO, but not as good as the few specialty dining venues we enjoy.

Caveat: My CK experience is limited.
