If you've never played, in the past there were also classes you could sign up for where they walk you through the basics of roulette, blackjack and craps in the casino while it is closed. I think you even got a few bucks in casino credit, too. I'm not sure if these still exist or not, it's been several years since I did it, but it was a nice service.
