Kesha Jagdeo
I am booked on allure of the seas for presidents week 2024 but I'm nervous it will be chilly in Florida and the Bahamas in February so thinking about switching to April. Any way to transfer the deposit or am I out $100 per person no matter what?
twangster
You can always ask but if booked on a non-refundable deposit then the policy says there is a $100 per person fee charged.
Ryan79
I was in the Bahamas in January and it wasn’t chilly at all and neither was Florida. If anything, the weather was absolutely perfect. About 75-80 degrees with very low humidity
WAAAYTOOO
I find the air temperature to be too cold for swimming in February, but I am a wimp. I recently (this past winter) cancelled Coco Beach Club reservations for that very reason. The water temp will probably be fine but as a general rule, the air temp is not quite warm enough for swimming in Feb. Of course, it depends on a lot of variables but generally, I would not expect to swim in Feb...but that's just me.
loki007
february is hit or miss. If you can move to April I would definitely do that

I thought if you booked after June or July of 2022 with non refundable you now loose entire deposit and cannot even switch for $100 per person? I thought the new deal was after that date non refundables loose 100% of deposit, no change possible even with fee? Am I understanding wrong? This might come in handy if it's still possible. WAAAYTOOO
I think the new rule allows you to move a reservation with $100 PP penalty. If you cancel the reservation without a replacement booking then you lose the entire deposit. Neesa, teddy and twangster
sammy79
How’s Bahamas in the end of November? Still warm enough to swim?

As @WAAAYTOOO offered a full cancelation now causes the loss of the NRD deposit but a move to another ship or sail date incurs the $100 pp fee. Kesha Jagdeo
To clarify: I paid a deposit of $300 and there are 3 of us. So, what I really mean is that I will have to pay the $100 per person penalty, which amounts to everything I paid.

OK, so if I have a NRD of $500, but want to change for 2 pax, I still have $300?
teddy
Your non-refundable deposit transfers and you have an additional charge of $100 per person. We’ve done it a couple times recently. CanHardlyWait and twangster 1
teddy
Never mind I was going to post a picture of an invoice showing the change fee added to the total, but my fat fingers can’t get the personal info blacked out using my phone

So changing a cruise for 2 would result in the $100x2 change fee being added to what you owe at final payment for the new cruise.

But my $500 already paid deposit would move in full right?

Yes, since you're just moving the cruise and not cancelling. CanHardlyWait
