John Graves
Cruising Vision of the Seas Do you have any recommendations for a pre-cruise hotel (low cost, no frills) in Fort Lauderdale for 2/5/23 between FLL airport and the cruise port? Ryan79
Holiday Inn Express is close to the airport and the port at a reasonable price.
Hutcherl
I booked Avid Hotel. It is a Holiday inn brand. Newer hotel with decent reviews. Just looking for a clean place to sleep the night before our cruise. Later flight so not looking to be near anything in particular. $120 for July stay. Also, has free airport shuttle and free breakfast.
WannaCruise
Hyatt Place near the cruise port has spacious rooms. It's near Harbor Shops which has a wine store, a Publix and some good restaurant options. FireFishII and rjweber3
Ampurp85
The Fairfield Inn & Suites Fort Lauderdale Airport-Cruise Port was a decently priced clean stay. They offer a decent breakfast, and they had mimosas as we were boarding on a Sunday; I imagine for them this means turning breakfast into brunch. They have an airport shuttle and the shuttle to the port is $20pp. However, we took two Lyft XL, we had a group of 7, and they were about $26-30 with tip. Mturk
We've been to Four Points Sheraton a couple of times pre-cruise. They have an airport shuttle and it's not far from the port too. They don't include breakfast but the rooms are decent size. Next week we'll be staying at the Marriott Fort Lauderdale in Dania Beach. It's more expensive but looks really nice. They also have an airport shuttle.
FionaMG
We've stayed twice at the Best Western Plus Oceanside Inn. Handy for everything and breakfast included. Sign up for their loyalty programme for a % off.
JohnK6404
We stayed at the Holiday Inn-Ft. Lauderdale Airport location back in 2019... https://www.ihg.com/holidayinn/hotels/us/en/hollywood/fllas/hoteldetail?cm_mmc=GoogleMaps-_-HI-_-US-_-FLLAS Our friends live near St. Cloud/Orlando, so they drove to meet and pick us up at the airport and we all stayed at this hotel the evening before the cruise. They left their car at the hotel (nominal parking fee) and we just took the hotel shuttle to the cruise terminal. They took care of the hotel reservations, but I believe they are reasonable. They also have a nice pool on site, etc.

tonyfsu21
Try looking for a hotel in the Dania beach (Dania point) area. If you are looking for newer and low cost options then this is your best bet. I am a boots on the ground Fort Lauderdale native & local if you have further questions.
